Quoted from Eskaybee:At what price difference does a buyer say to themselves, id rather buy used and save xxx rather than go NIB? One is not better than the other, it’s just that everybody has their own price that they are ok with spending or even losing.
It is a hobby, you are supposed to lose money on it. Otherwise it is your business. The IRS knows all about this. Lose money = Hobby, no deduction. Make money = Business, pay taxes on gains.
Now, let's hear from all the folks on how they make money when they sell their machines. Be sure to include your name and address so Uncle Sam can find you and get his cut.
Quoted from rvdv:Selling Iron Maiden LE # 6
$9800 cash only
dude, you're THE iron maiden guy!??!
Quoted from Eskaybee:forgot the other guys name, but he was the one who helped me and kicked butt loading it
If he's the same guy that can back that box truck up my long narrow driveway without taking out any of my sprinklers, I know exactly who you are talking about.
Quoted from Eskaybee:Very true. Good thing we have a local distributor now surfsidedetail that you can pick up a game at their location with warranty and stern/distributor support, and for less than what he’s asking for his OUO. I just bought my ACDC pro vault from them and they loaded it in my car, saved my back, and were fantastic. Very pleased with Evan and (crap forgot the other guys name, but he was the one who helped me and kicked butt loading it ).
Ugh, that brutal flipper is now a distributor? Oh, pinball...you just keep getting worse and worse.
Is anyone from the LA area coming to PRGE in Portland in a couple weeks, or anyone traveling to Pacific Northwest / Seattle in the near future and can transport? I have my eye on a machine out there.

Shane, do you have a Thunderbirds set up at Ayce Gogi?
Looking to sell my GOTG Pro with topper, shaker, and flipper fidelity speakers. Also, my Houdini will be up for sale.
Both purchased NIB by myself and have very low plays. Love both games, but need to step away from the hobby for a little bit (at least owning games) while I get work back on track.
Quoted from vicjw66:Shane, do you have a Thunderbirds set up at Ayce Gogi?
Not at the moment.
Still on the hunt for a nice players condition Earthshaker. Not interested in a project game and can’t afford collectors quality. PM me if you have one. Located in Santa Clarita. Thanks
Selling a Stern swap box with an AC/DC Luci premium translite installed.
$220 cash and carry.

Let me know what you have
Nah, I never took calculus.
Sale Pending
Decent project 3" flipper game, Williams World Cup. Needs board work - which I cannot do.
For referance, there is a World Cup for sale for $999 on CL right now: sfbay.craigslist.org link if all you want to do is fix this one and flip it.
51 photos can be downloaded here for the next 6 days.

I picked up a solid project game I was hoping to restore as it has good bones, but the board restoration is beyond me. When I bought the game it turned on, booted with startup music, and displays lit up. Now it turns on, and does not boot up, does not start a game. So much for my "working" project. \-(
Game is in Hayward.
PM me if you have any questions or need additional pictures.
My inability to do board repair your gain.
World Cup details, here is what I see ... take careful look at photos
Turning on Game
- game turns on and lights are lit
- does not start game
Cosmetics
- all plastics intact, no breaks
- i already replaced the backbox lights with several boxes of new bulbs
- decent cabinet
- mirrored back glass, front looks fine from players position, but there are some missing paint areas which I took detailed photos
Boards
- boards all original
- no acid burn on boards, there is a remote battery already installed.
- since boards have no acid burns it makes it a good candidate for your board repair
- took close up pictures where the boards chips are toasty
- manual and schematics included (see photos to check out schematics)
Playfield
- under playfield clean and no hacks that I can see
- three places of wear - all in solid color areas so good candidate for touch up
- rest of playfield is in above average condition, but swirl marks need to be scrubbed out (I use Bleech White)
- pop bumper skirts needs replacement
World Cup never started a game, so I do not know what works, or doesn't work on the playfield.
- 6254 made
- Williams System 3, which means if you have a Contact, Disco Fever, Hot Tip, or Lucky 7 you can interchange boards.Nearly 25,000 games made with System 3 boards - World Cup being the most popular.
- 2 flippers, 2 pops, 2 kick out holes, 2 ball kickers, 2 stand up targets, 1 spinning target
- Christian Marche art

Quoted from RobT:Then why do you own The Hobbit?
There's no math-chess. Just lots of modes...easy to understand how to start them & what the goals within them are. Easy to understand goal-based completion of modes, multiballs, etc. Plays like an adventure.
Quoted from Rarehero:There's no math-chess. Just lots of modes...easy to understand how to start them & what the goals within them are. Easy to understand goal-based completion of modes, multiballs, etc. Plays like an adventure.
I'm pretty sure you need a bachelor's in science to figure out the mode multiplier combinations in hobbit . Star Wars = shoot the green shot if you want it multiplied, otherwise it's not multiplied.
Quoted from Eskaybee:I'm pretty sure you need a bachelor's in science to figure out the mode multiplier combinations in hobbit . Star Wars = shoot the green shot if you want it multiplied, otherwise it's not multiplied.
...but you can play Hobbit & enjoy it without understanding any of that. SW is just confusing as F...you need to understand the chaos to get any enjoyment out of it, IMO.
Quoted from Rarehero:SW is just confusing as F...you need to understand the chaos to get any enjoyment out of it, IMO.
Weird. I don't even like SW, which is why I'm selling it. But this is not a complaint that I have of the game. There can be some "chaos" if you decide to stack modes, but that is completely within the player's control.
Quoted from vicjw66:Can’t we all just agree that they both suck almost as much as Family Guy and be done with it?
I love Family Guy the game and show. Super fun pin
I am doing a road trip soon between Seattle and LA. If anyone needs something transported along I-5, I have some extra space for a fee.
I may also bring a FunHouse to sell if demand warrants it. It's in good player's condition and plays well but has some minor issues I haven't taken care of yet. The cabinet is good other than the usual fade, playfield has some minor issues: worn mylar, lower playfield insert decal wear, light playfield wear/little spot at lower scoop.
Quoted from jorge5240:Just still keeping this out there. May go the Craigslist route in the next month or so.
Just hoping to get lucky. Anyone in California or all of the west coast looking to sell their Metallica LE? Please send me a PM if you would like to sell. Thanks.

Hello Pinsider's... I'm going to switch up some of my games.
I would consider trade (+/- cash whatever is fair) or straight purchase. I'm locate in East Bay Area, 40 miles east of San Francisco.
I have:
Star Wars D.E. w/ Darth Vader topper
Congo
America's Most Haunted (HUO I bought NIB) with Laseriffic Haunted Mansion topper
Dr Dude real nice playfield and 3D translite, needs cabinet redecaled. I have the new "Next Generation" 5 decal set
Pirates of the Caribbean (Stern) sold to me as HUO, which I believe, as it's exceptionally clean & sharp
I'm looking for any of these titles:
Pirates of the Caribbean (Jersey Jack Pinball)
Houdini
White Water
GameShow (1990 Williams)
Thanks!
Kerry
I have 3 JJP Pirates of the Caribbean LE and 1 JJP Pirates Standard Spots open that are on order and to be built/shipped in November.
Please DM if interested. I have an LE setup at On Tilt @ AYCE Gogi in Van Nuys that can be played. If seriously considering, a private play session can be arranged to enjoy the game exclusively on free play to make your decision.
Thanks

Too many good pins coming out, looking at selling my TNA, located in Nor Cal in Folsom.

This LAH is super nice, definitely worth a premium for this title.
