I got mine working. It is easy to install the code once you get the USB. It did require a few calls to get it online and get the content activated and set up for a home use machine on free play. It works great now though. My son and streamed it for a bit. Unforutnately, I forgot to plug in the lap top we were using for streaming so it got broken into two streams while I figured it out:

How did it go? Mine updated but still no Terminator content. Also could not set it for free play, called for support and was told they needed to make couple more changes on the back end to make it a residential account. They told me I was good to go yesterday evening but still had the same issues. If some kind of update did not take place over night, again I will call support. Man this has been a process. I do like the new look though.

So my dongle is in the mail now, excited. Question for those who have home reloaded, does it save player stats? Like can you reload your profile every time you start? I know they advertised it but I am not sure if that is linked to your player card or being online.

#459 3 years ago

This has been some great info everyone. I recently picked up a safari deluxe and was wondering what dongle I should be keeping an eye out for upgrading to world. My concern is that the deluxe is another stream of upgrades. Anyone on here have a upgraded deluxe? I look forward to upgrading the pc with a ssd and more ram. Also, besides betson, does anyone have a good source for parts. I'm guessing I will need guns in the future and want to get ahead of it all. Thanks for any info.

#460 3 years ago

the computer doesn't know that it is a deluxe or a standard cabinet, so the dongle and software should be the same. as for parts, betson is your best bet for oem parts.

I received my BBH Reloaded 42” Mini cabinet on Friday. What an amazing machine and a great overall package / presentation! I worked with CoinUp and had the machine up and running with all content the night that I received my machine. This was an upgrade for me from a Big Buck World. What a difference having it in HD on a 42” screen. New guns are a nice upgrade as well. The cabinet has very cool lighting with LED’s behind the T- molding and in the speaker panel. Cup holders on each side are a nice touch as well!

Haven’t played all the games yet but BBH is great with both guns and bows. Terminator Salvation is a workout! Don’t see how I could ever get through the entire game as my shoulder and arm were killing me after about 10-15 minutes.

Great transaction with KingPin games. Highly recommend Christopher! I ordered it on Monday and it was delivered on Friday!

Thanks for posting all the pictures...... have fun. I'm still debating if I should get one. I had terminator salvation for a few years but with the machine guns.....I can't imagine having to pump every single shot. Even with the machine gun after 40 min you could feel it.

I assumed if you worked with Coin up you have the online version ?

Quoted from Darth_Chris:

Yes it’s the online version. They said since it’s residential I can cancel the monthly subscription at any time. I think you are usually locked in for 12 months. I figure I can try the different content and then buy the modules I really like to avoid the monthly fee. You would still have access to all the BBH non-premium content once subscription is cancelled

Interesting topper, this must be new. I guess the NIB ones don't come with the Terminator topper they send the existing customers who upgrade?

Very nice is it easy to pull that 42inch out and put in say something over 60inch

I don’t think you are supposed to / able to swap out the monitor on this “Mini” version. If you want to use a larger monitor, you would go with the Panorama model where you supply your own monitor.

As far as the topper, the 42” mini model does not work with the Terminator topper. It is meant for the Panorama model or the previous HD models.

#469 3 years ago

Thanks for the pics, that's super cool. I would have sprung for the 42 mini reloaded but I didn't want to wait for it.

I am considering a BBH, as long as a good deal on a used one, with all upgrades, and can be played offline.

Kingpin, in this thread or the GT one, said he has some used ones I think.

I gotta say. That cabinet of yours is amazing. The LED work is unreal!

I want to get the panoramic version but it doesn’t have all the bells n whistles of the mini.

First world problems. Woe is me. Woe is me.

#476 3 years ago
Quoted from PW79:

I gotta say. That cabinet of yours is amazing. The LED work is unreal!

Thats the main reason I went with the mini! The cabinet is really nice with the LED's. Unfortunately the Panorama version doesnt have the LED's like the mini plus the Panorama is bigger and I didnt want to give up that much real estate. I considered getting a used Mini or Panorama HD version but splurged for the new one due to the upgraded look of the cabinet. It is a great looking machine!

I also expected the "Mini" to be smaller / lighter but the thing is huge and really heavy (over 400 pounds!). You probably cant see it in the pictures but the big topper marquee didn't really fit with my ceiling height. I have a drop ceiling and it fits but pushes the tiles up a bit. I was surprised at how tall it is with the topper installed!

#477 3 years ago

Ed, thanks for the pictures and the kind words.

For the rest, the 42" mini is just that, a 42". If you want a larger screen then you should be looking at the panorama.

If anyone is looking to get a new one (or used) let me know.

Fyi, I answered johnny this morning when I saw the message.

#478 3 years ago

I sorta want to get the Panoramic cabinet & wall mount an 85” screen.

Maybe, in front of a TV that big, the game will absorb me like Flynn (1982 Tron) or that new Jumanji movie.

Perhaps a nice vest & some dank edibles will expedite the process.

I double-checked on this, and you need to maintain a 12-month subscription (doesn't have to be 12 consecutive months, but must be 12 total months) before going offline. This is what I am being told.

If you're talking BBH/Safari/OS/World, the software is most definitely different for standard vs. deluxe vs. whatever the giant one is.

I would ASSUME the dongle is also different, but my memory is fuzzy on that one. It might actually be the same now that I think about it. I just don't remember for sure. But the software is different because the resolution and aspect ratios are different.

The exact details of this would be great. It would help me to pull the trigger. $480.00 total after game cost is reasonable.

But when you go offline and not paying anymore after that, are all the games loaded on the unit?

Or will you not be able to play some games offline?

(I don't care about custom settings or what my rank is, I just want to be able to play all games available at the time I purchased the unit).

We love the 2020 Golden Tee I picked up nib. I never plan to put it online. About every 4 years I may buy a upgrade chip to have the newest games added.

I am interested in BBH, I just have to study all the info for a while.

Which of these upgrades is the best bank for the buck? And which is the worst? Thanks!

Wild Pack 1 (3 animals)
Wild Pack 2 (buckzilla and zombie deer)
Duck Dynasty
Zombie - Doe of the Dead
Monster Island
Terminator Salvation Delta

#486 3 years ago

I am online now but I think Wild Pack 1 is probably the best for extended content. I had Wild pack 1 and Zombie-Doe of the Dead before going online. The new content is cool but I really think the Wild Pack 1 was enough. I do like the new interface with reloaded though. Need to play it more. I guess I need more time cause I have a lot of toys.

When I was telling my girlfriend about BBH she said oh, I don't want to shoot deer, they are too pretty.

I said well, the deer are fake you know. I said you can also shoot zombies. She said she would love to shoot some zombies.

So, which upgrade is the best for zombies?

I plan to join this club soon!

Right now leaning used so I do not have to be online and pay fees.

I read the panorama cabinets with large screens have lag when compared to the 42”

Anyone familiar with this?

I thought a bigger screen would be better but I may be wrong

Leaning towards the mini now. Love the redesigned cabinet!

#489 3 years ago

What if RAW doubles the monthly cost?

It’s already gone from from $30 month to $40 a month in the last 90 days right? I’d have no choice but to pay whatever they ask since I have a “sunk cost” of $6K

Dang. I don’t like ransoms lol

Thanks to COVID-19 how do I know Raw Thrills will even be in biz 2 years from now?

I think way too much.

Paralysis by analysis

Looks fun tho & life is short.

#490 3 years ago

Pano, you can use any tv. If someone uses an old tv with high input lag, that would cause issues. If you get a pano with a low input lag tv you are fine. I got a sweet one for $600 cad.

The base buck hunter machine is a stupid price with no content. Just play the crap out of it and expect to take a loss. Or just go to a bar an drop as much money as it will take to get your use out of it.

Yeah

The high price of entry...

Ongoing fees that already increased by 25% almost overnight...

A company dependant on location play during a pandemic...

I'm still considering it tho. It's not cheap but if it's fun & my family/friends enjoy it then I'm good.

My retirement won't be derailed by a BBH implosion but it was way easier buying a Golden Tee.

I can't go to bars, etc. We have risk factors in this house that require caution. You have a good idea tho my friend.

Guess I will just obsess over this for a few days & pace the basement haha.

What a tough choice regarding cabinet. Get the big dog or the cool one. 1st world problems.

There is a zombie killing game but it’s the same every time and gets repetitive, my kids like it though. Also has Zombie deer which are hard because only head shots count. The games cost about $1k each to buy outright. I’d go with the $40/ mo which includes everything then you can decide what you want to pay to unlock

Hey Christopher, Unfortunately for me I’m good friends with JJ... He has one used one right now and could get me a new one pretty easy. Just exploring all the options before I chunk down the full amount on a new one.

I am seeing some used BBH Pros for sale, for half price of a used HD.

Does anyone know if these can be easily upgraded if I ever want to add more BBH games?

the pro can only be updated as far as a “world” which is pro, open season and the full safari package.

Bbh HD can be upgraded to all the new jazz, two different systems though as the bbh pro has the old school tv/monitor and hd has the ir bar and lcd tv
