I am shocked by how awesome the shots and lighting in this game are, and yet the sounds are so darn flat and uninspired. I wonder if they can fix this in code? Like.... these are the guys Marvel got us to do voice overs?

For anyone that played this, is that top left looping ramp shot not disrupted by the strange spinner often? I watched Jack playing it and it seems it kept getting in the way?

Quoted from CoolCatPinball:

I havnt played a pro model, but several people have and left great reviews of it in this thread. Most said it played fast and smooth. One person even said they played a pro and an le and actually preferred the pro die to the le subway and ball lock breaking up the flow. I think you cant go wrong with any version on this title.

Flow is the one thing people are usually proud of when it comes to pros. Honestly flow isn't everything. But yes, I'm sure there are people that would play twilight zone with no gumball machine or upper playfield and say they prefer the twilight zone pro model better.... for some damn reason.

I’ve heard which is one of the reasons I’ve stayed away and haven’t even tried it yet though to look at it sure is a thing of beauty.

Shame. Game is my favorite pin ever made.

Quoted from ABE_FLIPS:

I agree on many points, however i dont think the outlanes are too bad. TMNT has a really bad left outlane.
AIQ has a very forgiving design over all, shots far in the back with nearly no risk when missing the shot and extraball gallore.
If something kills it for me, its that I'm getting no emotional connection to the game. It feels cold and cheap with loveless plastics.
...and the extreme flipper fade- flippers start to feel like sausages after 30min of gameplay.

I guess it isn't so much that this game fades its flippers so much as they need to be strong all the time to hit these crazy shots, right? The marvel and black panther shots are super hard to hit on a medium strength flipper. Most games can have weak flippers and the shots are just as obtainable.

Are these fan kits for sale somewhere? They sound awesome.

So guys, I'm confused. This game looks amazing. But it doesn't seem to be ranking as high with people. I've seen people say this is Keith's worst game. It looks like his best, without playing it yet. What gives? I'm about to be in the market for my 6th machine, and I am debating a few pins. This is one of them.

Is it because if how "hard" it is, like these last few posts have complained about? What is it?

SO I've played jurrasic park pro about 6 or 7 times. I found it sorta... meh. I then went to pinball life to pick up and order, and Terry had AIQ premium to play. Played it a grand total of TWICE and holy cow. I vastly vastly prefer how this both looked and shot. So why do I see JP being rated higher? What's the catch? I was blown away by Avengers, granted knowing little about the code.

Im shocked that these can be had new right now. I've always liked this game, and am wondering: why is it available? Did stern just make more? I'm so close to pulling the trigger.

My guess is it's a combination of a couple things:
It being a really unfriendly newcomer pin, so when you first try a few games it's easy to have no idea what you're doing and move on to something else.
It's also kind of a boring machine when it comes to toys and such. We just got our Deadpool Pro yesterday and the difference in the visual "fun" and toys between the DP Pro and AIQ Pro is staggering. I feel like this is the case comparing AIQ to most Stern pins.

It's interesting about the bonding part. I'd plan on the premium, and I felt it looked packed as heck. If you want boring, play a pro of ledzeplin. Yikes is that a vacant playfield.

So I'm getting an AIQ premium after playing the pro in the arcade just now. Should be sometime next week. Anyone with a newer AIQ, is it recommended to get tha captain marvel reject piece, still, or did they clear this up?

#10143 1 year ago

Hey all. Getting my game Friday and was going to order bas from pinball life, but am not sure how many the game has?

Also, what coil stops do I order for this to replace the old turd ones?

#10174 1 year ago

Just got my premium today (decidedto pull the trigger as I liked it so much on location). The shots all combo so well together with each other. Such a fun fun game to play, and yet each game plays differently. Super pleased to be in the club.

So... like, people with covid only?

Quoted from Defil8de:

Is it it supposed to be a thing where you can't assign a stone to Black Panther? I don't have an issue registering that shot except when I try to do this. I can assign it when I get to rearrange gems, but not with the Black Panther shot itself. Anyone else seen this behavior?

Bad switch, my friend. No such feature exists unless you already had one on him before.

Quoted from Richter1019:

Thanks guys, I’m an idiot, I finally found it in the settings… does anyone else have a problem with the auto launcher… my ball keeps ending up stuck under Thanos’ glove (premium)

I keep hearing this, thankfully mine has never done this. I wonder what causes it?

Quoted from CoachBacca:

I have some spicing up to do around it and it’s been about a week but I am so happy to be joining my first club! I have never had a materialistic purchase that has come anywhere close to making me this happy. Huge thanks to ZMeny for dealing with me during some late nights.
