Fun game, but is anyone else having issues with stuck balls in the subway?

Thank you. The bubble is just touching the bottom line so I will increase the slope a little to see if that helps.

This bent plastic piece isn't going to last long with all of the fly balls. As you can see, it was already bent down and out of place before the first game was played. Good opportunity for a mod.

I didn't actually realize that it says extra ball and add a ball until I started looking in to it being out of place.

The lower Ls are the ones not at a 90 degree angle and they are riveted to the plastic so I am not sure how to bend them without breaking the plastic.

I am also having trouble downloading the update. Did you figure it out?

Can someone tell me if the balls are supposed to stack like this at the VUK prior to being ejected? The second ball gets knocked back when first fires off and it appears that this is what causes the second ball to get hung up.

I had to replace the Thor lock ball on my LE. The one that came in the machine looked like they found it rolling around the warehouse floor.

This doohickey broke off, so I went to settings and bypassed the portal/subway lock. I think the game might actually be more fun this way. The gauntlet ramp becomes the portal shot with a lot less waiting time. Plus, no need to worry about the inevitable something going wrong with the rising disc. Now I need cool inserts for the subway windows.

Probably not all related, but it started with a ball occasionally get stuck right before the vux. A small shake of the machine would knock it loose. Then, after .92 code update, balls would occasionally get hung up on the first and second tooth and would release after four or five ball checks. I thought is was an issue with code and that it would be cleared up on .93. Last night, a ball was hung up on the first tooth and would not release whatsoever. Second ball in just stacked on top of first. Had to lift playfield to access when I noticed the pieces on the bottom of cabinet. It is good to hear that Stern updated build specs on subway. I have always had great service from Stern when it comes to parts and maintenance so I am confident that they will get the subways working as intended.

Well shoot... what do I do about this?

I added Pin Stadium NEOs today. Wow, what a difference they make! The pics are heavy on yellow tone... I'm still experimenting with the colors. Also a pic next to GnRCE for comparison.

Place 6 inches of electrical tape along the edge around the top two corners of the glass. No more rattle. I haven't tried this with backglass.

So, having trouble with a couple of my other machines I decided to lower the tilt bob and play the heck out of AIQ last night. Wow, is this machine fun!!!! Making the tilt less sensitive, the out lanes became much more tolerable. This machine should definitely be up there as one of the best ever... right next to Iron Maiden. That said, should I be adding a JP to the collection??

Taking other machines into account, this is honestly the best owners thread that I have read for insight on mods, minor repairs, and gameplay. Thanks everyone!!
