Post passing left to right is just difficult on the game. Easier to shoot BW and jump to the other flipper or shoot BP to get a faster feed to the right.

I can't remember where I read it or saw it (and I don't see it in the tiltforums rulesheet), but I think to get Thanos Attacks you need the Soul Gem (that is mentioned in the rule sheet) and at least 2 other gems. So if you don't collect the Soul Gem until later in the game, you can avoid Thanos Attacks....but it is a valuable mode points wise and can provide you with a gem.
