Does anyone have the movie code for a Pro?
I'm a huge marvel fan and heard there was a modified code with movie clips. Please pm me if so.
I tried a search but couldn't find. Thanks in advance.

Quoted from Richter1019:What’s the deal with these flippers? What’s the difference? Is it worth it??
Yes, very much so. AIQ shots are consistent and true with these flippers. I'd highly recommend but make sure you use low bounce synthetic rubber or OEM rubber or you won't get the control you need for AIQ.

I've never played A:IQ. Currently own Deadpool Premium and it's my favourite machine out of all that I've had (IMDN, TMNT, JP, R&M).
Anyone in here that's played both give an honest opinion on this being a worthwhile trade?
Pro or prem?

I've only tried R&M a couple of times on location and I didn't like it. That said, I know literally nothing about the theme either so that might factor into it. I have an AIQ LE and love it. I've read people say that it's too hard or feels like work - and it is, but I think that fits into battling Thanos - it should be hard. And i still think it's fun (and the Captain Marvel shot is one of the most satisfying shots in pinball).
Fwiw.

Hi John,
Will you have the Dr Strange Mod again during this sale? It's currently reporting out of stock.
Thanks, happy Thanksgiving.
Does Spider check his pm's frequently? I really want to explore this movie code for the Pro while I have a few days off. Like a kid waiting for Santa.

hey man, just a heads up here, this code is based off 1.03. I had already upgraded beyond that so it wouldn’t work for me. Hopefully he finds a way to upgrade the best newer code…
Oh, and you’ll need an SD card writer

Thanks man. If I read right, you can downgrade to this code file. But good call on sd card. My key fob won't work for this.
Need to go back and read the sd card steps for a mac. Thanks for advice.

You're in the AIQ thread, of course you'll get replies that like AIQ.
The downsides of AIQ are the lackluster callouts (the avengers have all the enthusiasm of a retail worker reporting for their next shift) and the complexity of understanding the gem powers. These are particularly in opposition to Deadpool with great callouts and the simplest power imaginable in the boom button. If those are not a problem for you, then AIQ is as spectacular and deep as you can get.

The animations are boring too...

I had an Aiq le and now own a pro. I also own Rick and morty. We love Rick and morty. It’s our favorite pin becuase of the theme integration and play. Aiq has better flow and plays a little quicker for the most part. Prem has fun shots with that captain marvel shot. Rick and morty will never leave. Aiq will go again probably sooner than later
I recently got an LE and joined the club. My game is running Rev 1.0 software, is this worth updating? The read me file looks like mostly insider connected updates but there’s other things also. Thanks

I'm here to ask basically the same question. I'm running 1.01 and haven't bothered upgrading since I don't have Insider Connect. However, I seem to recall that there are rule upgrades that will make it worth updating to? Are there any downsides to upgrading from 1.01 to 1.06? Is it okay to skip ahead past previous updates?

I always update, but I also added insider Connected. You can read the changes for each update in the readme file:

Just joined the club with a huo premium. Watched videos and read up on rules, but hard to remember everything when you are playing. Looking forward to getting more familiar with the game. Is there a way to get a stone back once you lose it or Thanos takes it away?

If you lose any gem battles prior to the Thanos Attacks mode, then if you defeat Thanos Attacks you'll get awarded one of the gems you lost.
Otherwise if you lose a gem battle and you have the soul gem, then you can replay that lost battle. But if you lose the battle again then you'll lose the soul gem.
If you've lost the soul gem, you can get it back by getting a super jackpot in Black Order Multiball.
Besides that, the other way to recover a lost gem is to win Hawkeye Challenge on Marksman (top) difficulty. If a gem is available for this, the display will offer for you to hold the action button to skip to Marksman.
The Soul Gem can also be won/recovered by winning Battle Royale, or by completing the avengers for a fourth time total which loops back around to the Soul Gem quest again. Stated another way: All three of the Avengers Assemble modes allow winning the Soul Gem, and they loop around after the third one, so it's always possible to re-win the Soul Gem and therefore to replay any quest you lost, so you are never permanently locked out from winning any gem.
Thanks for the information guys! Sounds tough to get one back. But I guess that works with the theme.
The ramps are so much fun and I love the see through ball locks with the mirror mod I did and the iron man ball drop, yes not the best graphics etc but I don’t care I love the layout!
I assume there's probably no way to stop Gem Mania from killing flippers & draining upon completion? Just curious as I finished the mode in a game where I had high-scoring victory laps going + thor multiball stacked with it so my "reward" for completing it didn't feel great.
My turn for a mystery screw to appear on the playfield. It's a small black Philips head (smaller than it looks in this close up pic.) I looked around the Sanctum target and building since that's the most common area to lose a screw, but didn't see any empty holes. Anyone got more suggestions?
My aiq came with the stern topper. I never look at it so I’d probably sell it. What do they typically go for used?

They are still new and in stock at a number of places for $750, so I would assume 6ish. You'll get more for it if you wait until they are sold out.
If you are low code without Insider Connect, get the movie mod. It fixes all the issues I had with the game.

You’ve already looked there, but that looks like a screw from the Sanctum plastic assembly (at the top holding the overhang). There is a similar black screw on the top of the tower plastic assembly as well. I hope you find its home!

Finally found it - turned out it was way up at the back panel next to the Black Widow ramp.
I'm trying out that zip tie there to help with Widow ramp rejects, which I get a lot. It seems like the ball goes up too high into the roof and the roof flexes upwards, deflecting the ball backwards (towards the player). There might have been a connection between this and the rogue screw, in either direction - either the loose screw made for more slack in the area causing the rejects, or the zip tie focuses some force towards that screw and loosened it.

Doesn’t the topper add a multi-ball to the game?

Yes GEM Mania (or other similar name), BUT in the new code WITH insider connected you can also play this mode which is started from a drop target reward.
New premium owner here and have read most of this forum. I was interested in trying the mirror mod for the stepper subway. Looked underneath and boy does it look like a pain to pull out. Is there a trick to removing it or is it as involved as it seems. Looks like a bunch of connectors need to be disconnected and lots of screws removed to pull the mech, solenoid and trough out.

Very easy to take it off and put back on. Everything you need to do is easily accessible. IIRC it's 5 or 6 hex head screws holding the finger lock mech onto the playfield and the connectors are easy to unplug. I think you also need to remove a couple nuts holding the entry opto bracket so you can remove the plastic tray that you'll put the mirrors in. Pretty quick to do it all.

Good to know I am not the only one with this ramp issue. It is a center drain for me almost always when this happens. Let us know if that fixes it.

Like EaglePin mentioned, it's not too difficult to remove. Just make sure the labels are on the wires to insure correct re-connections and take a few pics as you go. Also make sure that none of the ball lock fingers are binding on the plastic subway as there is a little play between the mech and subway.
It's a good idea to take it apart to clean the subway from time to time as well. I cleaned mine at around 3000 game plays.

Just learning about the mirror mod. I'll be doing this over the Christmas break!
I had 3 gems when I started Thanos Attacks and luckily ball save was still running as I had a quick drain and then beat Thanos for 114 Million and then had a good 435M Super Victory Laps Multiball!
Quoted from awesome1:I had 3 gems when I started Thanos Attacks and luckily ball save was still running as I had a quick drain and then beat Thanos for 114 Million and then had a good 435M Super Victory Laps Multiball!
To describe my relationship with Thanos Attacks, I’ll sum it up with a bad forced AIQ pun: Dr. Strange & The Glove: or How I Learned To Stop Worrying About Losing a Gem and Love Thanos Attacks.
I think I saw the other day that my best Thanos Attacks score (a little over 200m) is about twice as high as my best Battle Thanos score…
Same here. I lean into losing a gem. I just trap up and let him have the Reality Gem. I'd rather play that high scoring quest over again (including a portal-lock multiball and soul gem jackpot) than attempt Thanos Attacks. It's true Super Victory Laps might score more on its best day, but on average the risk-reward is clearly worse for attempting it.
That said, I did once go for Thanos Attacks just out of bloodymindedness when defending 5 gems (happened because I failed Soul Gem the first time and only got it late from Battle Royale), and got through all 24 shots to win it for a total of 340M.
If you just want to reach Battle Thanos, let him have the Soul Gem instead, since you can win that back in BOMB or Battle Royale without playing an extra quest.

Losing Reality gem is a solid strategy, I just have a hard time bringing myself to intentionally lose a gem.
Oh yeah, I've had games where I didn't get to Thanos Attacks until I had 5 or 6 gems... not fun and difficult, that's for sure! I'll have to see what my best Thanos Attacks score is.
Edit: 238M is my best Thanos Attacks score.

I gave up. Turned machine off. Turned back on to make sure I still had a working pin. It did in fact update to 1.06.0 , thanks just the same.
