So when they torqued it at the factory so tight it actually spread open the part you show broken off. And it looks like it cracked right at the center hole point. I wouldn’t be surprised that the undue stress didn’t play a factor. I fixed mine by just backing out the hex bolt and lining up that assembly and then re-tightening. The pics that I put up clearly show the problem. It was a pain to do it because you have to realign the flippers.
So this is getting to end of my pay grade in terms of pinball knowledge. What’s the downside of this? It seems like this came off the left upper flipper, and it still seems to work fine. What’s the worst case scenario until I figure out how to fix this?
