Quoted from TenaciousT:So SKWilson - I had to stop watching your unboxing vid . because everything was drawkcab !
Oops!
Loving the game. Curious if anyone else is having the ball shoot off the wireform on that last turn before the ball is dropped on the right inlane (the o). If the ball comes down fast it almost always falls off and a slow traveling one is 50/50. Had pitch at 7.1 and lowered to 6.6 but not seeing much difference.

Yeah, my local spot has a pro on location with the same thing happening on the reg. Which is crazy I haven't seen it happen a single time to Jack Danger on stream
Can any pro owners comment on the captain marvel horseshoe shot? The videos I’ve seen of it seem to always returns the ball to the right slingshot instead of the flipper.

The one ive played usually feeds the right flipper but really loses its momentum through the horseshoe. Not a fast turn around like id expected but usually more of a trickle out of the panther orbit to the flipper.
Itching to shoot the premium ramp

Not a Pro owner, but had the same play experience on a Pro. The one way gate out of the Captain Marvel lane dumps directly into the right orbit/Black Panther guide.

A bump was enough to get the ball past the right sling most of the time, but this and the Ant Man lane return are two big reasons I opted for a Premium.
Since Im waiting for my walking lock assembly to arrive, I can still play the game with a simple setting adjustment.
I thought I would share so anybody else with similar problems will know.
You have to disable the disc up/down and bypass the walk lock assembly.
In Game Feature ADJ #181 set to "NO ENTRY" and this will disable
The game will now do the virtual lock.
Im basically playing a powder coated pro model with a tricky ramp now!

Great information to have, thanks for sharing!
Quoted from TKDalumni:For the record, this is the view from the player’s perspective. I actually can’t even see add-a-ball, let alone Extra Ball...

You're 100% right!
The spot Iron is the only award displayed that is visible from the players perspective! How they didn't see this is beyond me. I know they wanted an RGB light as close to the spinning disc as possible but they could have made a better visible sign or moved the RGB light fixture to the side of that sign.

Sounds like a mod may be in order by some of our mod makers......
Initial review My LE is Drain Heavy. Im going to have to tone down the pitch and the slingshot power. But shots are butter. And game is fun.

Any marvel ramp rejects?
How does changing gems work on the pro? Looks like it’s a target, so no place to hold the ball and select?
Quoted from chuckwurt:Any marvel ramp rejects?
Jack’s stream on the new code had A LOT of ramp jumps and rejects. But, Karl’s stream last night looked awesome. Really brought me into wanting this game. But, I’m still thinking pro for the faster, more wild gameplay.

On my JP, toning down slingshot power wasnt enough. I actually had to adjust the leaf switches a little bit. The slings were way way to sensitive. Maybe the same case on AIQ?

I'll be stunned is the modders dont come up with a better sanctum tower. And quickly.

Scribbles does reducing the number lower the sling power or increase it? I know some of Sterns menus mainly audio the + number actually reduces it and the - figures increase it.
Is sling power the same way or up is up and down is down?

For coil power, the higher number increases power

Lower number lowered the power, albeit only slightly. The leaf adjustment is what really helped. Bought the $5 tool from pinball life. Took 5 minutes of tweaking from top of playfield. No disassembly required.

I am also having trouble downloading the update. Did you figure it out?

Absolutely insane what I saw. Hard settings and no Extraballs. I knew he is good but I never thought like that. Recommend to have a look
Quoted from TKDalumni:Is Battle Royal the wizard mode?
Is that the name of the mode for collecting 24 trophies? If so, yes.

Whatever you this is good, times that by a million and you’ll get Johannes
Quoted from chuckwurt:Whatever you this is good, times that by a million and you’ll get Johannes
Yeah. Never watched a game liked that before except his final Battle on the BSD
Quoted from chuckwurt:Is that the name of the mode for collecting 24 trophies? If so, yes.
Not sure about the trophies but if you hold both flippers in before starting a game, you can play it
One thing I just don't get is the empty blue room that the game always defaults to showing on the LCD.
The image above has a player with literally 3 billion more points than I'll ever score - still just an empty blue room.
Why not show off the Avengers you've collected, or something anything at all in the vicinity of the marvel universe? People hated on Wonka's display, but at least it's showing a chocolate factory.
I get what it's supposed to be, but a blue floor and empty shelves for the majority of gameplay really ruins the feeling that the code is finished.
Quoted from TKDalumni:Not sure about the trophies but if you hold both flippers in before starting a game, you can play it
Then no. That’s not the final wizard mode.

Holy F, Johannes is killing it at ball one with 2.5 billion! His game starts at 02:42:30 and is over one hour long, i wonder if Keith can keep up with that
Quoted from chuckwurt:Then no. That’s not the final wizard mode.
Rules sheet says Trophy Mania is the mode for collecting trophies. Looks like Battle Thanos would be the main ending mode unless they get all awesome on us again and put in an extra final mode like they did with WDRTE on Jurassic Park (not that I'll ever see it).
I consider the end of the game to be the end of the game. IE, nothing else to accomplish. Battle Thanos is not the end of this game to me. You haven’t done everything.
I picked up my LE yesterday afternoon. What can I say that others haven't already mentioned. Wow, wow, wow! This game is stupid fun. I consider AIQ the more forgiving version of JP. As an average player, JP punishes me. However, AIQ makes me feel like I can make shots at will. The possible ramp shot combinations are just mind boggling. Heading back for more crazy fun. Well done Mr. Elwin!

I know right!! They should have shown a scene in front of the tower building with members of the black order terrorizing the city. And! For each shot made the game shows a cut scene of that specific shots corresponding Avenger attacking a different member of the black order!!! That would be a great setup and when you get a trophy, there is a cut scene showing a cameras view entering the tower and flowing through it into the trophy room. It wouldn't be bad to keep the blue cpu room screen for parts of the game where the player is focused on a super computer mode challenge. But that blue room as the main game mode screen just doesnt mesh well with A SAVE THE WORLD COLLECT THE GEMS OR THE WORLD WILL BE IN GRAVE DANGER! ATMOSPHERE IT SHOUKD GIVE OFF!
Quoted from Reefkeep:How’s the fan noise? I hope it’s better than Deadpool....
I turned up the volume and added an external sub to my Deadpool... never hear the fan!
Quoted from Reefkeep:How’s the fan noise? I hope it’s better than Deadpool....
Why should Stern change these noisy fans?
It would just destroy the healthy mod market, that is built upon the success of selling us those silent replacement swirls.
Quoted from chuckwurt:It’s funny to me that people need their pinball machines to make less noise.
It's only those who leave them on and don't play them that complain......
