Pro owners: How do you feel about the missing Premium features? The Captain Marvel ramp looks awesome but do you really miss it when playing a Pro? Also, I like the Portal Locks and Gem Quest start at the lifting Disc, are there any downsides to starting Gem Quests at the right ramp?
Premium owners: What are your thoughts on the Premium features? Are you underwhelmed by any of them?

I went pro because ball lock and look of glove didn't impress me. The ramp and raising disc are cool features but didn't want to spend extra dough on just liking half of the upgrades and possibly having issues with some of them out of the box. If you can find a HUO premium with any issues dialed in already then go that route, otherwise a pro right out of the box is a great option also.

Would cliffy switch slot protectors help? I’ve never used them. Didn’t know if they extend far enough up to where the ball would land on them instead of the playfield.

I imagine this will get nerfed. The pro can't do that combo over and over like the premium and the BP to BW repeatable combo gets locked out after a few times, so I imagine that same rule will get added to the CM to BW combo. That's my guess, anyway.

I would hope not -- CM to BW is a LOT more difficult than BP to BW was. Even I was able to hit 10-15 combos from time to time on the BP/BW shots, but I'll never do that with CM/BW. Or I guess only allow 10 combos at a time with that or something. Nerfing to prevent the elite players from going nuts really just makes the game more difficult for normal folks.

My 2 cents.

Maybe I'm reading into this too much, but on my Pro, the LCD background is predominantly the Trophy Room, which has been a topic for many on this thread in terms of an opportunity to improve the overall refinement of the game.

In your video, it appears you have different code that has the Sanctum as the primary background, where the Black Order characters are coming in and out of portals. Proxima tosses a gem in the air, etc... I fully expected this was beta code. Perhaps I shouldn't assume this is part of future build.

It sure looks like it has been changed. I can't imagine why they would go back to the trophy room graphic when they've got this one. Great to see.

The Trophy mechanic itself is great, it just doesn't suit the theme all that well. What would have been really cool is if instead of Trophies it was something like books in the Library at the Sanctum Sanctorum or Occult Artifacts or something along those lines. Basically just something more theme appropriate. I understand it's too late in the game to make that change, especially when it wouldn't functionally change the gameplay, just something that has been on my mind (from a theme-integration perspective) since the game was revealed.

I think the points came as much from, if not more from, the Time Gem + Super Combo's running. If they do make a change (nerf) I would think it would be more directed at the Time Gem. Maybe make a short waiting period before it can add time again or something. Or a limit as to how much the time bank can be increased over a given number of seconds. I'm sure the experts will know what to do.

I had the same thought after watching this last night. But if I ever learn to shoot like this I will pop in the 1.0 SD card and go nuts!

Not gonna bother me either way, but I don't know if they want the pro and premium score differences to be that high. The number 1 ranked player in the world can't put up those numbers on his pro.

Lol, have you seen Ray Day's YouTube channel? He literally puts up 1 billion point games every time on a pro.

The Captain Marvel to Black Widow combo is much harder than it looks on a prem/LE. Karl Deangleo make it look very easy because he's one of the best in the world. The scoring is fine.

Clearly RayDay is a very high level player so his shot making skills are excellent, but the Pro model seems easier to me in many ways.

Getting the Mystery at Ant Man can be difficult on the Pre/LE. You can't do his upper flipper trick at the beginning of Soul Gem on Pre/LE. You won't backhand from a cradle the Capt Marvel ramp on a Pre/LE, it also appears extra shots are needed on Pre/LE to lock balls in the subway for quest multipliers...

Does this guy have his AIQ pin in his bedroom? Laughing at his clothes on the hangers in the background and what looks like a bed and pillows behind him. No wonder he’s an expert. I love watching these videos but always feel like why isn’t it this simple then when I go play. Awesome though to see some of these guys and how extremely amazing they are.

For sure. I'm talking about the 1.5 bill average Ray is putting on the pro vs the 3-4 bill average Karl is doing on his premium. Seems this is directly related to him murdering super combos with strategic gem placement that cannot be duplicated on a pro.

I must be missing something, but why couldn't the same combos be done on a Pro model?

Captain Marvel is the only physical difference related to combos and the Pro looks easier to accomplish that shot than the Pre/LE, though I haven't played the Pro model yet.

I have my game’s incline at 6.5, but when I put the tilt bob in the game immediately tilts. The hanger is not curved or anything but it definitely has a pretty severe deviation from vertical. Any ideas on how to fix?

You should be able to adjust the tilt bob ring by loosening the mounting screws on the cabinet. Also check if game is level from side to side.

Thanks. It’s fine side to side so I’ll try changing the mount. Really seems like someone installed the hanger and ring with the cabinet flat instead of at 6.5

I've run into this before and had to relocate one of the screws for the tilt bob ring.

The pro CM shot doesn't return to a flipper to set up another shot. It's a combo ender.

Starting to have the flipper fade that many others have had on AIQ. What are the fixes for this? It seems more and more to start immediately after turning on nowadays. Flipper strength just feeling super soft

If it happens right when you turn it on, it shouldnt be flipper fade. That is caused by the coils getting too hot and increasing the electrical resistance. PinkMonk makes fans that work wonders. But for you, perhaps there is a problem with the coil stops, not sure if Stern has fixed it on games lately but it's been a big problem in the past. Look in the cabinet, under where the flippers sit, and look for gold dust, that's a telltale sign of busted coil stops.

Watching Ray's video and seeing the new background screen gave me hope that they still may add Adam Warlock into the game.

I'm thinking you could add a cool element that doesn't change anything major, but just adds a new small perk. How about having to hit a unique 7 way combo (spelling W-A-R-L-O-C-K with each shot as displayed on the screen). For example , on the premium / LE: Black Panther - Black Widow - Gauntlet Ramp - Hawkeye - Black Widow - Captain Marvel - Tower (with ball hold for final shot to the combo). Hit all 7 shots and you get some sort of perk (e.g. completes a gem mode if you are in one, awards an Avenger if not in a gem mode, powers up Avengers, etc). Or perhaps the perk you get is based on the number of gems you have collected already (i.e. when Warlock is collected and he uses the gems to do something good - more gems you have, the better the perk).

OK, I wasn't sure. It looked like it did return to right flipper from Ray's video, if not, yeah that could affect combo opportunities.

I love the premium features, my favourites the actual portal and the antman scoop as they give me some time to breath and think. This is a very fast game otherwise.
Cpt Marvel ramp is ok, but the rejects can sometimes get hung up in between ramps (this can be solved by removing a piece of the rail but this is big mod for the ramp and not willing to do that. I am not sure why they have not done this at the factory and would remove the possibility of balls getting stuck there. It only happened once in 200 games for me but it will continue happening...

Wondering if anybody got in touch with Stern about modifying Cpt Marvel ramp? am I dreaming here?

Also if the ball does not make it as it comes down it goes straight down the middle which is very annoying lol...

I was thinking about it and if they even had a small intro video that suggested the player was Adam Warlock, that might be enough. Afterall, in the Infinity Gauntlet story, he is the one driving the story along and directing Dr Strange. Obviously THIS story is more inspired by the MCU but still ZombieYeti added Adam Warlock to the playfield dammit!

Hi Guys,
I see a lot of comments about the Captain Marvel ramp rejecting shots.
My "fix" was waxing the playfield and then after each +/-100 games putting some extra wax in front of the CM ramp.
Just my 2 cents.

Is there a 3rd mod option to mod the sanctum?
I’ve seen the sardine can and the 3d printed building. Both are better than the stock version, but I wish the building had an over head light and the sardine can keeps the standard plastic that makes the lit windows hard to see when a window is lit.
Anyone know of another option, or just a replacement plastic that I can use with the sardine can to get the best of both worlds?

I waxed mine for the first time last weekend (it was way overdue for it). The game is playing like a rocket ship now! So much fun with how much faster the ball is zipping through all the shots. My CM shots are going so fast through it now that sometimes the ball is hitting the end of the wire form above the inlane and bouncing back a couple inches before rolling back to the end to drop down. When super combos are running getting that super combo sound effect with the extra speed of the shots on the waxed playfield is a rush.

chubtoad13 - I have the Sanctum building mod from Mezel and added a spotlight to the BW front post to bring the lighting effects back to that area or the PF. It’s a mod for a mod but it works beautifully for me.
