Quoted from Mitoska:

Wow..that rug looks amazing, any info on where it came from?

I'll try and find a tag and take some measurements. It is so cool and almost has a 3D effect at the right angle. Also has an anti-slip bottom which is great for my epoxied basement floor.

My Secret Santa has me pegged! I must have been a very good this year, because my favorite treat showed up again--this time in a variety of colors and flavors that I have never heard of before...nutty gingerbread man, 2022 cookie jar, sleigh ride, jing-a-ling and cocoa snick. This is
definitely can't be confused with the 'chicken' ice cream I received a few weeks ago. Interestingly, my daughter who is home for the holidays from
the NYC area, knows exactly where the store is so Panna is now on our MUST STOP on our next visit. NYC is a five-hour drive but for good ice cream it's worth it!
Thank you Secret Santa!

Search for John Jundt(not secret santa)
* where did you get a message for your recipient's info? They were emailed out.

Got it in pinside messages. I’d send you a screen shot, but that would kinda ruin the whole “secret” part…

Double confirmed, no email. Below that Pinside screenshot is a username and address. But you know what? Everything’s fine! I got my SS package, my target will get his in a couple days, and everything is still happening! And SS is awesome! And John got a TS4!

Just to update, it was indeed my secret Santa package that arrived yesterday. I’m going to wait until Xmas Eve to open. Large box and pretty heavy, no idea what it could be?

Santa stopped by JJPHQ on his rounds today, and boy oh boy, did the elves make something spectacular. Alright, it wasn't the elves, but I gotta say, my Santa, who I met in real life at Pintastic last year, has really made my day. This is one of the coolest gifts I have ever received. I feel like that gets said a lot around here, which shows how much effort we all put in on making a random internet-stranger smile who cares about the same crazy crap as the rest of us. The amount of care and thought that went into making this custom art piece and putting it on shirts for me and my whole family is a shining example of what makes this community so outstanding. Huge grin on my face the whole time! My boys put on their shirts too, and then we all wrestled with each other until bed time.

Oh, btw, I'm gonna need this art on a poster, Joel.

In front of the xmas tree at home. And yes, that's a custom 3dprinted Mario star with individually controllable rgbLEDs built in. Which I made myself.
photo_2022-12-20_20-19-13 (resized).jpgphoto_2022-12-20_20-19-13 (resized).jpg

Opening the box, i'm greeted by a very kind card.
photo_2022-12-20_19-36-20 (resized).jpgphoto_2022-12-20_19-36-20 (resized).jpg

Then the hooligans came in, and all hope for a peaceful unwrapping was lost. Can't put wrapping paper infront of 7 & 5 year old boys and expect it to last long.

When my Secret Santa gift arrived, I said I’d try to wait until Christmas Day. Well, that didn’t happen. Curiosity got the better of me so I cracked on in on an otherwise dull Tuesday night.

Inside I found several neatly wrapped gifts which I proceeded to open.

Clearly my SS noticed my love of the Legend of Zelda series and found some amazing gifts. So happy that I did not wait until Christmas morning. There were six handmade Zelda themed ornaments and a set each of triforce and rupee holiday string lights. These went straight to the tree and look amazing! I also received a really cool paint your own wizard figurine that my daughter and I will work on this afternoon. She’s trying to claim it as her own…. To top it all off, my Christmas sweater this year is chosen! A megalodon shark holiday sweater - how freaking cool is that?

So excited for my gifts, Santa. Really appreciate the awesome presents and thank you for brightening our Christmas week. The decorations will adorn the family tree for many Christmases to come and i’ll be sure to post a pic on Christmas Day rocking this sweet sweater. Thank you!

Ok, my SS is a super sleuth, absolutely nailed it! As a farmer, I'm mechanically inclined and at times I'm sure I like working on my pins more than playing them. The klein hollow handle nut drivers are excellent!!. In the garbage goes the cheapo harbor freight ones I bought for the pinball tool chest. The lemon aid mix has 2 hits for me. I have kidney stones so every morning I drink a big glass of lemonade, which really helps. Trust me, 7 years since my last stone, and I used to get 1 or 2 bad ones a year, with 2 surgeries. And it's lo cal, which is great for an old guy like me who has to keep an eye on his weight. The zip ties are always welcome, and as my note says, these colored ones will help to remember what mod I installed, diff from factory black zips. As you can see from my breaker box, I love stickers, have a tool box in shop covered as well. So these will find a happy home. I'm from the east side of Washington, so I've heard of but never read the skill shot magazine, now I can! Lastly, how freaking cool is this t- shirt??It was -5 here this morning in Kittitas, but I look forward to warm weather so I can show it off. Thsnk you SS, I hope you and your family have a great Christmas. Merry Christmas to all you pinsiders

Those Kleins look super nice. I use some cheapo remote controlled car nut drivers (whatever) and while they get the job done...they ain't no Kleins!

I love the shirt choice too.

I hope I can remember some of these gift ideas for next year. I know I can always come back to the forum but man some of those little tools are awesome. The Kline nut driver set would be a good tool for anyone. I have a couple nut drivers but not a whole set...

Some real nice thoughtful gifts here.

I used them and zip ties today, added hooked lightning bolts on LUCI. Much easier having a nice magnetic driver instead of filling the socket with elec tape to hold the screw

Hi everyone!
So I wasted no time and installed all the gifts I got yesterday from my SS. It looks fantastic. The spotlights really make a huge difference. My SS was extremely thoughtful. Pretty sure he dug through post on the JP home pin forum to see what mods would be great. I included a before picture so you really can see the difference the lights make. I got the spotlights, trough light, cup holder (I have already made good use of), flipper stickers and the beautiful side blades. This was very fun to install everything. I learned a lot.
Thanks again secret santa!

I have the set of nut drivers that Titan sells. They claim to be magnetic but the magnets aren't very strong. I also wish they had the sizes stamped onto the end of the handle to make it easier to find the one im looking for when they are all stuffed down into my toolbag.

Quoted from JordyRamone:

Hi everyone!
So I wasted no time and installed all the gifts I got yesterday from my SS. It looks fantastic. The spotlights really make a huge difference. My SS was extremely thoughtful. Pretty sure he dug through post on the JP home pin forum to see what mods would be great. I included a before picture so you really can see the difference the lights make. I got the spotlights, trough light, cup holder (I have already made good use of), flipper stickers and the beautiful side blades. This was very fun to install everything. I learned a lot.
Thanks again secret santa!

If you ever get a chance to play one you should. I love it. Rules aren't too deep but it's a super fast shooter with satisfying shots and has two wizard modes.

So another unexpected package arrived today!

2.1 (resized).jpg2.1 (resized).jpg

I think it's already established (link) that I lack any patience so I won't try to make an excuse this time.

2.2 (resized).jpg2.2 (resized).jpg

Awesome!

2.3 (resized).jpg2.3 (resized).jpg

I love doing lego. This will go nicely with my JP!

2.4 (resized).jpg2.4 (resized).jpg

And an actual pinball machine! I'll save this for doing with my kids, I'm sure they'll love being able to make their own machine .

Thank you very much Secret Santa for all the thoughtful gifts. Looking forward to getting stuck into them!

Merry Christmas,
wireable.
