Yup, looks like the Devils are out of gas. I'm sure the tough Rangers series took its toll. Would be nice if they had an extra day off sometime during the series to recoup a bit. Not dead yet, and hockey can be funny, so we'll see.

I don’t mind the diablos..good young team that can skate. Is there much talk there about somehow, 1 day, getting Quinn Hughes to join his brothers there?

Thoughts on that happening? As a Canucks fan I imagine that would be tough to stomach. Quinn reminds me a bit of Sandis Ozolinch during his years with the Avs.

Quinn is already 1 of the best d men Vancouver has had. He’ll be here for awhile, 6 years or so. But if his play is deserving of a huge contract, we’ll see if the owners can afford to keep him here, or ship him out. The cap does funny things w teams, and so much $ can only go to so many players. I’d be pretty pissed off if any of the big 3 go in the next 4-6 years. Imagine Demko playing for the leafs?!
