Quoted from ImNotNorm:

Make sure you click every team you have selected to win in your bracket.
Sometimes it looks like you selected a winner but it's hard to tell.

Maybe just a Windows 7 thing, it would not light up the submit button in both Chrome and Firefox. Had no problem in Chrome on a Windows 11 machine. The layout is not that confusing, it just doesn't work properly.

Thanks for all of your help, Sean!
I wouldn't be able to achieve my guaranteed busted bracket.... and inevitable 1st round exit, live and in color, without your sacrifice.

Wait, how did you pick the Penguins?

Anyone else pick the Panthers to win the Cup?

I hope they can beat the Bruins.. does that count?

Keefe is entirely to blame for that performance. I don’t understand why the neutral zone is so easy to pass through vs leafs. Giordano..worst game as a leaf? ..on and on.

#3510 5 months ago

The worst game I have watched and I have watched a lot of bad leafs games in the playoffs over the years. I feel sorry for the people who paid an avg. 600.00 per ticket.

Worse than the flyers gritty? Can't post a pic of gritty from my phone.

Back story of Gritty...someone found him stored for many years in a closet at the Arena. Gritty is the best mascot in the NHL I.m.o

#3513 5 months ago

You and the Law can tuck away the smoking jackets. Clean and have them shrink wrapped.

#3514 5 months ago

Brackets are closed and you can see everyone's picks now.

Very interesting....

Bunting deserved it!! Here's a direct link to the player safety video, he jumped and threw his elbow into Cernak's head. Just nasty and uncalled for.

#3518 5 months ago

Gritty was designed by Flyland Designs, which is heavily into pinball!

I can't say 100% he was going for his head.. Cernak is crouching downward, and bunting is coming upward, this happens, and he does not appear to have a line of sight to Cernak's head. He definitely knew where Cernak was and was trying to give him an elbow, no question... so he needs to pay the consequences of that, just like an errant high stick etc. I just can't see intent to elbow Cernak in the head specifically.. so most of that would be his own historical baggage...

Leaving his feet and then raising/bracing the elbow along with the fact that it was completely away from the play is enough for me... Play reckless, pay the consequences. Cernak may be out for the rest of the season now also.

6-2 now.

Boston fans have the same look on their faces that Toronto fans did last night

Tough to watch someone's face fall into a skate like that. Good thing the skate blade didn't move.
Also nice to see Stephenson check on Barron when it happened. Coulda been a lot worse!

75 stitches and came back and played from the article I read, no other sport does this and another reason why hockey my favorite, tonight’s games all over the place, seems like any team in playoffs can play on any given night

Bunting turned into Cernak when the puck was in the opposite direction and leapt at an angle while positioning his shoulder. If he was playing the body, it would have made sense to stay low where there was better leverage against a bigger player (Cernak). Either way, he's a clown just like Kadri IMO. The league was right to give him 3 games, hits to the head like that should not be tolerated in any way. I have a hard time accepting this as an accident, there are thousands of NHL games a year and yet we just don't see accidental blows to the head while one-on-one away from the puck like that... and from a smaller guy leaping into a big guy.

I've seen more whining and complaining from Leafs fans on the NHL forums, and it's laughable. I watched the Tampa/Toronto game and there was missed calls on both sides and bad calls on both sides. Even the call on Cernak earlier in the game was very questionable (Funny how it was Bunting skating over to Cernak and acting like he was going to run him after the whistle)... Sure looked like Bunting dived. and that led to a Leafs goal and a huge momentum swing (score was 3-0 and the Leafs looked out of it before then). And to be clear, I think the refs are just bad and inconsistent. But the leafs were dominated in that game from the faceoff. But lucky for them, it's only game 1. Lots of hockey left. I know that not all Leafs fans are whiners, but I think even Tavares came out and said the Refs were aginst them (wahhh lol).

Lots of losses from home teams so far, Boston getting destroyed was surprising. But I'm loving the playoffs so far, lots of good hockey!! I have 2 TV's running all night and to me this is the best time of the year.

100%! I was pissed off I had to pay for Fubu after cutting the cable cord, but their “fanview” feature is pretty great, with access to all games immediately on screen, and stats for the current game and scores for the others while you watch live. It’s not quite the red zone quad view, but works for me

Leafs looking a little better. Tampa looks lost out there.

Tampa needs to take a head shot to one of the best players on the Leafs and whine more...

Speaking of looking lost, the Devils seem to be in spectator mode tonight. Zero pressure and taking bad penalties.

Agree. They don't look like they are in the game at all.

The earlier games turned out to be stinkers. All the pressure is on the champs, as they simply can’t go down 0-2 at home in the series. Not having Landeskog hurts, but credit to the Kraken for showing up so far

55 year old Seattle born sports fan here. I guess I've always been a little jealous of you Canadian guys and the whole hockey thing.
I have to say, it's fun to have a team.

Lots of "ref you suck!" chants so far in round 1.

I’m jealous that you have a beautiful city w pretty well teams in all of the major sports leagues. It was sad when the Sonic’s left, but you had a championship in the ‘70’s, legends like Largent, Ichiro, Payton, Griffey Jr. And can’t forget the 12’s..w the Kraken now, you’re spoiled. Shit, I barely get Jim Rome up here in Vancouver from a station in Seattle!

You mean the ones that boo the US National anthem and cry about the refs when the lose (Leafs fans)? Or the normal ones elsewhere?

John Tavares has been an excellent player for the Leafs over the years . A great leader and Captain.

#3541 5 months ago

Quiet but a deadly player. Leads by example game In game out.

Nice bounce back for the Islanders. That crowd was jacked all night long.

The hits that McAvoy is throwing tonight are bone jarring.
