ALS is Battling Salming but he's used to it. A very tough and talented player. I remember hearing a guy way up in the Grey's yelling "go BJ go" at maple.Leaf gardens. Season ticket holder . I used to laugh when my uncle Joe was busting my balls organizing Souvenirs hearing that guy and the long plastic horns. The best times never replaced.

Tage Thompson sure is having a solid start for the sabres. The kid has some skills w the puck for a big guy
Rangers trade Ryan Reaves to Wild for a 5th rounder.
NYR did it for cap space, they had little and now they'll have over 6m to play with by the deadline (Kane seems likely).
Wild get a great locker room guy and probably still the best fighter in the league. Don't expect more than that from him, though. He's way too slow to contribute much else.

No puck luck for the Devils tonight. 1 goal doesn't count, then hit a post. Maybe Leafs can score again soon so that they have "the most dangerous lead in hockey".

Oh well, that was a fun streak. Crazy game for sure, never saw a player kick a puck away from the net and have the goal disallowed. And a goalie gets rewarded for making a shitty clearing attempt and bumping into somebody on the way back to his net. The ghost of Don Koharski strikes again! (yes I know he's still alive)

Coyotes score near end of regulation after pulling goalie to tie with Wings 3-3 to send game to OT. Wings had just fought off Tyler Bertuzzi penalty (effectively 6-on-4), but didn’t get it out of their own zone. So here we go…
