The lightning have it....the Avs don't.
Low scoring games favor Tampa....high scoring games favor the Avs.
I want the Avs to win....but this series will come down to goaltending.

After watching the Avs series, then watching every other series, it is obvious to me that other teams are too slow.
Mark this as the time that old slow defensive trap way hockey dies to the faster way!
After tonight it should be plain to see.

I think the Blackhawks win this one. They free up a fair bit of cap space, and getting Caleb Jones give them a bit of an edge to landing Seth Jones. The third round pick doesn't hurt either.
Duncan Keith isn't a bad player by any means, but with Edmonton already against the cap, adding Keith for two more years really limits them to the ability to add decent wingers to play with McDavid and Draisaitl.

Yeah, I remember a game years ago, ironically the Avalanche, and it was like the 4th or 5th
overtime period. Went to sleep at like 3 AM and couldn’t keep my eyes open anymore.
At that point, it was like the end of a boxing match where the guys are just hugging, throwing sloppy weak punches waiting for the time to run out.

I just realized I really need to lay off the sauce. Hahaha. I straight up watched 2 1/2 periods thinking it was so similar to the game the other night. In my defense, I am repairing some games and have it on in the background.

Your high bro. Kemper and Francouz have been solid and when you have a team that can score 5-7 goals a game all you need is solid goaltending. Avs should take it in 6.
