Well i think i've got my gift figured out. It is pretty cool but i don't think i had to pay for it and I am not sure it will be known that it is coming from the secret santa lol (Because it being sent directly to recipient). Gonna get something else also just to make sure BUT if you get something really cool out of no where it probably came from me

Just wanted to say, so glad to be doing this again this year. I finished my shopping yesterday and I have to say the excitement is really building now! I really enjoyed the hunt this year to find the perfect things for my SS. I truly am more excited to see their response then I am to see what arrives at my doorstep. Yeah, same here! My wife thinks it all sounds too stressful for her and I had another friend say that he doesn't know what to get his girlfriend so how would he get something for a pinsider he doesn't know, but I told them both to just buy things you think are cool and it'll probably be a hit. Its worked for me so far at least.

I am trying to be patient and wait until Christmas to open this box, but we will see what happens. Mysterious box opening accidents happen every day. I will share a picture once the box somehow gets opened.

Resist, or try to! The waiting/guessing game can be quite fun. Unless the darn box starts to move or something!

May I suggest that if you wrap individual gifts, indicate on the outside of the shipping box that it is safe to open. That way your recipient can put the wrapped presents under their tree until Christmas (or whenever they decide to open).

Also, if it's a chinchilla, it might need air.

Hopefully the Santa provided air holes in the box. That, or their own oxygen tank.

Giving is so much better than receiving!

I am waiting for one more item to arrive to send out my gifts. Hope my recipient enjoys what I put together. I do love doing this every year. I love stalking then shopping for people I’ve never met and seeing their posted reactions, it is so fun! Everyone is saying giving is better then receiving and that is true but I also enjoy the receiving portion as well. I want to say thank you to all my previous Secret Santa’s from prior years everyone has been awesome and I still enjoy the gifts to this day!

Yesterday I got my Secret Santa present and it was in perfect condition upon arrival. In true spirit of Christmas however just like last year I will wait until Christmas to open it. I think there is a book inside. When I flip the box upside down it makes a light thud with what I think is a cover and pages closing. Whatever it is, thank you very much. You're the best!

Sent my gift - the Black Friday sales gave me a good idea....shipped it direct...probably what I wanted for myself but I hope he will like it.

Well now, I am in a pickle. The local Garland hay & feed store was right out of chinchillas. Not in season or something. Then I went to the Dollar Store for one of those little dancing Santas, which would make a great gift as we all know, but they were all sold out.

I'm totally out of ideas.

Go with something off their only available wishlist on pinside.. i'm sure they'll be ok with it!

Still looking for something extra.. if someone knows where I can find an adult size pinball onesie, please hit me up! Not only will my Santee thank you in advance, but I'm sure he'll appreciate this during those warm summer nights at the local arcade joint!
