Such consideration. I don’t think anyone has ever made such an attempt to find gifts with such thoughtfulness .

The first thing I opened was the “I hope he’s your favorite” package, which is an awesome Leo Shooter Rod for TMNT. I bought the sword Stern shooter rod and have been disappointed with how far out it sticks, and it doesn’t fire the ball as well as I would like. So this is perfect! And also, Leo is my favorite.
Next was the stuff SS marked that his wife selected , which was the glass Arcade ornament and the board game that we are very excited to play.

The “Huge” fan Gift was the charizard ornament which my 6 year old daughter insisted on hanging. It’s great!

The gifts that really blew me away were the custom pieces. A wooden mini replica of my Stern TMNT Pro. It’s awesome!
The other was the custom painted and themed vinyl bowl. It will live in my arcade room and will be well used.

And a t-shirt from District 82 really completed the JM whole set. I feel so lucky and blessed. Thank you Secret Santa!

Like so many others, I tried to resist! It's a good thing we had an early Christmas dinner, if not I wouldn't have lasted that long!
Here we go:
Holly cow, this box was really well packaged! Dunno who SS is, but I would trust him to ship a pinball any day! First things first, I checked for any suspicious sounds inside the box. No sounds. So far, so good..!
Opened up the corner.. I do like strawberries! Let's keep at it..
There's 4 nicely wrapped gifts. I really like that arcade paper, btw!

Gift #1 is a vinyl from Tangerine Dream (Ricochet). TD has been one of my favorite groups since I can remember. This will be enjoyed for sure!
Gift #2 is a super looking game from Star Trek that I didn't have. Fun times ahead! My girlfriend said "Oh great, this is another game that you will beat the crap out of me!"
Gift #3 are trivia books! Dunno how my SS found out I read a lot, but he obviously knows I'm a bit obsessed with Star wars and Star Trek! 5,000 questions total to test my knowledge. That is awesome!! (Can't think what my girlfriend will say, lol)
There's also a book from Drew Brees. We both love our New Orleans Saints and Drew was obviously one of the greatest, and not only on the field. Can't wait to start reading that book!
Gift #4 OMG! I was actually looking for a lighted up sign for the game room we're putting together. Just dunno next to which game to put it..!
Thank you sooooooo much Secret Santa for these great gifts!! What a great way to start the holiday season. I wish you and your family the very best one, too!

"Not a chinchilla"
That wooden pin is quite interesting. I only know of 1 guy that makes and sells mini replicas, but they aren't wood. That has my interest piqued.

Also interested in that, there is a crazy amount of detail on it, very cool!

My wife said she believes it was likely made in a glowforge, which laser cuts onto cardboard or wood.
A mysterious package arrived this morning, and well I just couldn't wait
A HUGE thank you to my Secret Santa for the personalized game room decor, I love it!!! Very thoughtful and will look perfect in the game room, can't wait to put it up.
A very Merry Christmas to my SS and to all of you!!
IMG_7129 (resized).JPGIMG_7130 (resized).JPGIMG_7131 (resized).JPGIMG_7132 (resized).JPGJust wanted to thank my SS again for much fun in opening my gifts. P.s. I've started reading that Drew Brees book, preparing for tomorrow's game (Bucs. vs Saints)!
Also big thanks again to LesManley for making this possible! We enjoy reading all those posts and can't wait for the rest!
And to you pinheads, thank you for making this thing a bit crazy, incredibly generous, fun place to be on Pinside this time of year! More than ever we all need some goodwill, to all a Happy Holidays!
Edit: Still time for a very worthy cause with the latest Pinball Project raffle! That Oktoberferst Pinball would look mighty good under your Christmas tree!

i have that game, it is for die hard fans. questions like in this episode...
I went to my office and opened my gift. My Santa did their homework. I love Barry Oursler games and What I got was signed artwork by him and Kevin O’Connor and it is freaking awesome! Half my collection has something from one of those two. Thank you Secret Santa. I will take these to get framed this week and hang them in my theater.

Just a reminder to everyone, if you have received your box, even if you are waiting to open, post that you have received it....
My surprise delivery from stern has arrived and my secret santa could not have done better. I seldom spend money on anything for myself other than actual pinball machines and I have eyeballed these in the past. these will get used for sure as me and amkoepfer like our pinball and drinking nights and are overdue. Andy texted before it arrived wanting to know what I recieved and I responded I'm predicting those pint glasses with the pinballs in the side. thank you

P.S. If you are my SS, this is just my attempt at a little humor (I've not opened my presents from you yet).
Crud when Les assigned me as your Secret Santa who would have known you already had coal before I sent off your package. Dang…
Quoted from Pinballlew:Crud when Les assigned me as your Secret Santa who would have known you already had coal before I sent off your package. Dang…
If he's patient and willing to wait between 1 billion and 3.3 billion years with it under pressure, coal could end up being a very thoughtful and valuable gift.
Quoted from Liftserv:Holy cow! My Secret Santa and his elves have really blown me away with their thought fullness and generosity.
I just received via email tickets to the Star Wars night at the Pens game on the 14th. This is a real treat for me as I don’t get to many games—and Star Wars night too, I really am looking forward to it. And from the message there are boxes coming too.
I am really speechless at the kindness of virtual strangers, but this shows we are all a family brought together by a common interest.
Heartfelt thanks to Santa and his helpers—updates and pictures to follow.

Thank you Secret Santa!
Excitement is mounting!

Why the Neco wafers?

The way home heating costs are going he may need that coal!
Quoted from BroMan90:I've told myself if I can cracker a billion on my JP I will open my SS gift early.
Current GC is less than 700 million...hoping for a holiday miracle!
Just set it to 10 balls

I love neccos, especially the chocolate ones. Weird tho, if you buy a sleeve of only chocolate, it's no good

I was happy to get Neco wafers, I already devoured four packs! Some how my secret Santa new that too!
I am so happy and excited about my gifts! My secret Santa seriously spoiled me and got me the coolest gifts I could imagine. Have any #MET owners been following the thread that RobF started regarding creating a rising cross mod for Metallica Pro? Check it out - https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/met-pro-rising-cross-mod
Well I'm thrilled to share that I'm the first to get one, and it's made in a special glow in the dark purple to match my machine! My secret Santa saw I posted in the thread showing interest and he/she reached out to RobF about it to arrange a kit! (he / she also sent rgb ramp lights for my #TMNT!!!). The timing is funny, the night before the mod arrived I posted in the thread again expressing interest! I have literally had a tab with the thread open on my phone since I first saw it 8 months ago!
The installation itself was very easy and straightforward, RobF helped me through every step and really held my hand. A million thanks again for that. The design and planning behind this mod is very impressive, it is one of the best quality and well thought out mods I have ever seen. Simply amazing.
Here it is, installed and working in my machine! They will be available for sale soon, so make sure you chime in that thread and mention you saw mine and want one for yourself!
RGB ramp lights for TMNT will be installed very shortly! Mezel mods (@mrs_Mezelmods) accidentally forgot a z-connector so I reached out to them and I'm sure they will get me one ASAP. We all know how awesome mezel is! I will post again when the lights are installed.
Thanks again secret Santa. I would love to know who you are to personally thank you, but idk if that's lame or not, lol. I want you to know that I am very grateful for your extremely personalized gifts, you obviously put thought (and $) into these and I couldn't be happier. Merry Christmas to you and your family, and every other pinsider!
I was waiting to see all the pictures of the reveal being posted in the old thread, then realized I should have been looking at this thread! Silly me.
I feel very lucky to have had someone who looked deep into my OT threads and came up with some really thoughtful gifts. Some guitar picks that aren't picktured (lol) as well. I wear both of these shirts on the regular already and am so happy. And who doesn't need a nice shop light! going to come in handy for my playfield restos this winter.
Happy holidays pinsiders!!!!

First off a really nice card with some gift cards.20211220_133859.jpg
My wife opened the stocking and said, what are these? Pingulps! Awesome Santa20211220_134800.jpg
And now the absolute best gift for last. My secret Santa made a gift for my wife and I that will hang on the wall and will always remember the thoughtfulness of whoever you are 20211220_134832.jpg
Thank you again Santa
Hhhm, now I'm confused. I just got a mystery package from Alaska, that I think must be from Secret Santa. But now I don't know what my earlier package from the UK is. I was waiting for Christmas, but maybe I was wrong about the first one, and it's really got me bewildered. Think I'll have to open that UK one later tonight. I don't think I was doubly nice this year, ha.
PS: Thanks for sending that from Alaska, SS! That marked shipping fee is outrageous!
Quoted from HighVoltage:Hhhm, now I'm confused. I just got a mystery package from Alaska, that I think must be from Secret Santa. But now I don't know what my earlier package from the UK is.
It is best that you open it all this evening and post pics. Don’t fall for that old ‘wait for Christmas’ trick!
Quoted from Coz:Got a gift from my secret Santa today. Tough choice….open now or wait for Christmas??

Wooo! Hooo! Habitrail tunnel for our little friends..!
Screenshot_20211220-193933_Google (resized).jpgReceived my SS gifts today...big thanks to my Secret Santa! What a great package.
A full set of assembled LISY displays for my next Bally project---wow! I had been looking at purchasing some of these, and am very excited to try them out.
And the Criterion Collection edition of Dazed and Confused! How great...I actually lived in Austin for about 10 years and lived right near Top Notch Burgers (famously featured in the movie), eating there regularly. The memories! Can't wait to fire it up.
Not to mention the Mill Wax and other goodies, plus a bag of everyone's favorite diode: 1N4007s! I got switches I'll be putting some of these on tonight
Thanks again SS, I really love it, and I appreciate the thoughtfulness and nice note that came with it. Cheers, and Happy Holidays!
Got some really nice stuff from santa including 2 really nice printed pin gulps, should they go on the machines I drink the most beer on or in the middle machine of my 3 and 3 setup? Decisions...
Love the mini shadow and extra balls are always great, the ic extractor and wipes will come in handy. Well done santa!
20211220_193608 (resized).jpgHey Secret Santa-Thanks for the gifts! Got home from work in time to open it with my boys. You may have tossed in the shirt as an extra, little did you know that DI was almost our first buy-both my oldest and I loved playing it-but was just too expensive to get through the budget committee!
Thanks again for the whole package. I hope you have a Merry Christmas too!
CDF23579-EF18-44A2-8B57-2C4213B6BDB0 (resized).jpegI am a child of the 80s and 90s and like most pinball enthusiasts, I'm extremely nostalgic. My Pinside Secret Santa sent me a box exploding with nostalgic goodness and I absolutely love it! TMNT (I've never actually seen their bizarre tour, and I'm totally getting the VCR out of storage to watch this tape), GI Joe, Ghostbusters, He-Man, Star Wars merch aplenty (including vintage coloring books)...and even a sweet Choose Your Own Adventure board game (friggin' loved those as a kid)! Also included was a rad pinball puzzle and pile of awesome Stern pinball flyers. Thank you so much for making me feel like a kid again, Santa!! You rock!
