The crocheted body suit is for after your shower on the weekends. Bathe & Brew and then into your comfy weekend clothes.

    #35 3 years ago
    Quoted from Daditude:

Someone really may be getting a Cameron la borde pin:

Just ordered Silverball Mania. Used to kick ass on that machine! Now, only if I could remember when or where that was....

    #57 3 years ago

This is going to be great! We all have other hobbies besides pinball. I’d already been thinking of sending my person something from my other hobby.

My person didn’t provide a wishlist. He or she hasn’t written any stories. His / her nickname is one you'd only use here. So, that's no helpful data. Then I looked at recent posts. There's a real good chance that we share the same other hobby! How cool is that?

Eh, maybe I’ll just send a Tshirt instead. Ya think?

    #59 3 years ago
Quoted from dirkdiggler:Can never go wrong with scotch or whiskey as a gift!

My preference in that regard is more combustible than flammable. But I meant my other other hobby.

    11
    #108 3 years ago

I have the gift. Still figuring a creative way to package it. Would super high bouncing balls adequately cushion a fragile item? I like the idea of hundreds of little superballs spilling out, bouncing all over the house when the box is opened.

    ——-
Now I’ve given it away. 'Doh!

    #188 3 years ago

So far, no one has said anything about waiting until Christmas to open it, or at least install it. You haven’t actually played it with the Stadium Lights, now, have you?

    Quoted from Mtg381:

Here is a pic of my NEW NEO Pin Stadium Lights installed on AIQ!!

    #190 3 years ago

    I wasn’t being serious.

    #194 3 years ago
    Quoted from LTG:

I'm sorry I missed that. I've been under a little stress lately.

No worries. Humor is difficult in plain text.

I wouldn’t turn down a fairly decent project Doodle Bug. Because I’m all humble like that .*

*Just kidding, of course. I’m happy with some Tootsie Pops leftover from Halloween.**

**Unless you secretly own Amazon, in which case put me down for a NIB Big Lebowski. Don’t worry, I have room for it.

    #325 3 years ago

How much would it cost to ship a pallet and empty pinball boxes all wrapped in plastic so it looks like a new machine is being delivered? (Asking for a friend.)

    #335 3 years ago
    Quoted from matiou:

they sell real animal organs for science studies

If the organs are packed in Corn Nuts, they should stay preserved for several days.

    #344 3 years ago

He didn’t mention corn nuts. Just sayin’.

    #436 3 years ago
    Quoted from swinks:

    [quoted image]

    Funniest thing all year!

    #458 3 years ago

You know you are getting old when... you remember cap bombs! Fun gift!

    #465 3 years ago
    Quoted from Apinjunkie:

As it turns out the artist useed UV reactive glass for the planet.

    Wow!

    #507 3 years ago

The pinball machine ornament I ordered 19 days ago came in today. That's from Canada to Dallas 19 days. FYI.

    #517 3 years ago
    Quoted from Pinballlew:

If it’s for you do you have a picture to share of it?

    #522 3 years ago
    Quoted from pingod:

All of his mini pinball machines are excellent quality, and PPS licensed.

But don’t expect it will be something to hang on the tree. It comes with a teensy screw eye, but no hole drilled for it and no template or instructions on where to drill it so that it will hang balanced. Mine stands on a table under a mini tree.

We've had Amazon leave stuff on the doorstep and not even care enough to ring the doorbell.

Last year, they dropped off an opened package. We'd ordered several items. Only the Jolly Ranchers were missing.

Since then, we have them ship to our PO Box whenever possible. Especially if its candy. Speaking of which, you can order PEZ by the pound in your favorite flavor. Why? Because you can! (This is not a SS hint. I have plenty on hand. Thanks anyway.)

    #611 3 years ago

My SS gifts are wrapped and sent. Funny, I got two chinchillas for packing, and used them, but turns out, I have extra.

Anyone needs some, let me know.

    #614 3 years ago
    Quoted from pacmanretro:

Now the poor little things are replacing packing peanuts?!

I thought that was the whole point.

    #615 3 years ago

    Mine just got here!

Will try to wait until I get home to open. Or maybe tomorrow evening.

    24
    #618 3 years ago

My wife pointed out that no one else is waiting to open their gifts, and that's good enough for me!

Thank you, Santa! You really hit it out of the park. Just in time for snacks, too.

Santa sent me a corn-ucopia of yummy goodies. Also a classic Underdog T-shirt and a plush Underdog. He is going to stay in my car, protecting me from traffic from now on.

No, Santa I do not already have that Tshirt. I did have it years ago and wore it out. I'm so glad to have it again!

One of the gifts is a set of little circuit breakers that sit in for fuses until the problem is fixed. Sure will beat replacing fuses over and over. I'd heard of these, but hadn't seen one before. They will come in very handy.

This is the topper on a great day, after a string of lousy ones. A troublesome thing at work has been resolved to the good; Mystic, which had mysteriously quit working, decided on its own to work again; and now all my great SS gifts.

I'd write more, but I've got to get into that bag of Corn Nuts NOW!

Thank you again, Santa, for my thoughtful & yummy presents. Can't wait to try the Huckleberry tea!

    IMG_7028 (resized).JPGIMG_7028 (resized).JPG
    #619 3 years ago

Turns out, the bag of CornNuts is resealable. Seems unnecessary, doesn't it?

    #624 3 years ago

I just found another present, a large Underdog sticker tucked inside the TShirt.

It is going on my new MIG, as soon as it gets here, any day now. (My old one died a few days ago, right in the middle of making my wife’s Christmas present, wouldn’t ya know?)

    Thanks, Santa!!

Based on the paper, I'm going to guess it's a box full of Led Zepplin 8-tracks

    Quad, in fact

    #688 3 years ago

You can never have too many clamps!

    #706 3 years ago
    Quoted from guitarded:

Nipple Clamps are the gift that keeps giving. Your Santa (also) rules.

And now we know who the Pinside kinksters are.

    #756 3 years ago
    Quoted from matiou:

. a colourful "pinball wizard" metal sign.

    Wow! Love it!

    #780 3 years ago

Herd of Chinchillas? Sure I’ve herd of them.

    #792 3 years ago

We sent out approx 75 priority mails (boxes) on Friday. We are already hearing that folks have received them. The folks who have theirs are in-state, in case it matters.

    #847 3 years ago

Let's say someone had successfully beat a Corn Nuts habit decades ago, but then his SS sent Corn Nuts and now he's addicted again. Is there any recourse?

    #849 3 years ago
    Quoted from Insane:

    Asking for a friend?

A friend whose treat drawer in my desk here at work is empty. I mean, at their desk.

    #869 3 years ago

A non-SS shipping tale... hobby company took my wife's order for a train set for me. Was supposed to be here today, in time for the last day of Hannucha. The order was accepted, with shipping to our PO Box. But they sent it UPS, who of course does not deliver to PO Boxes. It’s back in the truck. Go figure.

    #876 3 years ago

For those who don’t know, Bishop Cider Company has Cidercade, a huge pinball and vid arcade. I haven’t been since last year, and I sure hope they are doing ok.

    #896 3 years ago

    Ear ache, my eye!

    #942 3 years ago
    Quoted from LTG:

There are some nude shots of Jessica Rabbit intertwined with the clothed shots.

If I remember rightly, there are a couple frames where the drawn line that would ordinarily stop at her crotch goes a little further up. Nothing more scintillating than that.

I just received the most AMAZING gift from my Secret Santee and must show it off here. Next year, I'm driving an hour away to mail my gifts so the post mark is different! Actually, I was caught by some posts in other threads.

I can't thank you enough, Santa! My wife says it is better than anything else I'm getting this year.

    #1116 3 years ago
    Quoted from Atari_Daze:

Anyone already start shopping for 2021 yet? I'm looking for ideas.

Get a machine from Spooky, in case you get me as your Santee. It’s ok if you play it some in the meantime, but not too much, pls.

    #1118 3 years ago
    Quoted from amkoepfer:

Always wanted to buy the breakers

I got some breakers from Santa, too. Dumb question- what is a safe way to blow the fuse so current will go thru the breaker ?

    #1122 3 years ago
    Quoted from Atari_Daze:

    Were they not already blown?

I’ll ask my wife. Ba dum bump! Thanks folks, I’ll be here all week.

Mine didn’t come with the fuses soldered on. I’ll do it myself.

    #1125 3 years ago
    Quoted from LTG:

    Kerrygold butter

    Mmmm the best!

    #1126 3 years ago

This discussion is a great source of ideas! I’m getting myself one of those arcade light plate covers!

    #1148 3 years ago

It ought to be defrosted by then. Maybe put a tray under it.

Thank you for doing this ! This has been the most fun filled group on Pinside.

Thanks to everyone for sharing your jokes, and pictures, and good cheer.

To those of you that have not opened your presents yet, "What are you waiting for, Christmas?”

However I think her new Cricut hobby might end up costing more than my pins... Holy buckets, are the supplies expensive!

But she can make you new plastics with it!
