I typo’d my address by one digit.
There is no other similar address, so should make it still. I let les know
Super sorry. If it does not show up, that is all on me. I am an idiot.
My Santa typed my address wrong by one number - delivered to a neighbor. Good thing we know our neighbors so they were able to give it to me!
Quoted from Fezmid:My Santa typed my address wrong by one number - delivered to a neighbor. Good thing we know our neighbors so they were able to give it to me!
You have a good neighbor! We had a package this week delivered to our neighbor up the Street. It's the third time this year and they Act like it's theirs and open it up.
Quoted from NeilMcRae:when do we start crying because we don't think ours is coming?
So far these years there has been 100% participation. No dead beats.
You might PM LesManley . He or the sender could look into the tracking number. See if it's on it's way, delayed, or lost/stolen.

To be fair, they did open it without looking, then realized it wasn't something they ordered.
If that's the case they should have returned it to us instead of us having to go get it back and ups having to go get it back the other too times.

I've emailed him twice about a package I sent that the PO says was delivered 8 days ago and haven't heard anything back from him.
My package arrived! It's in a cylinder that says "GOT Translite", but SS probably just throwing me off. I'll open in couple days...
I think Santa had to hock his sleigh and get a boat due to the deluge we had out here! That's what I imagine explains the odd delays on the SS radar and the 2-days-late arrival.
Quoted from Captainhook:I've emailed him twice about a package I sent that the PO says was delivered 8 days ago and haven't heard anything back from him.
I emailed your person and asked if it was delivered that's the best I can do. I don't know anymore than you do if they don't respond back to me. People don't usually hesitate to be vocal if there's a problem, so no news is probably good news, but I will try following up again.
For anyone worrying about their gift not arriving yet, there's still two full days left for deliveries so no one needs to get in a panic. The next two days will be very busy. With Neil and his international package that is a little different because it's always more difficult with international secret Santas. His is coming from a different part of the world. I'm following up on that one and hopefully it will be there in time but those kind of shipments are just way more unpredictable.
Quoted from Dee-Bow:My gift not arriving yet is the only thing keeping me from opening it early!
This is exactly why some people wait to ship because they know it's the only why to force people to wait to open packages.
Dear Pinside Secret Santa:
Your gift to me arrive safely 10-ish days ago. Sorry I have not posted earlier. My SS did a great job finding me the perfect gift! I suspect they did a little google sleuthing since I have zero footprint here on PS. They sent me an artistic representation of the main fragment 'A' from the Antikythera Mechanism. This will have a place on my work desk to remind me to spend more time on personal projects!
If you have not heard of the Antikythera Mechanism, I encourage you to look at the links below. The Antikythera Mechanism, the first analog computer in human history, was constructed between 150-200 BCE and was used to calculate the exact position of the Sun, the Moon and the five known planets in the sky. It calculated the phases of the Moon, predicted eclipses and indicated the date of the Panhellenic games.

Thanks again SS for the thoughtful gift.
am (resized).jpgam_trixie (resized).jpgAs expected, I couldn't wait and opened my box. Inside I first found a big tool bag ... I removed it from the box and noticed it was very heavy! Under the tool bag was another small box -- with a heat gun! (Should be handy, since I didn't have one.)
Suspicious of the weight of the tool bag, I opened it up -- and found a multitude of fantastic tools and supplies! I really needed most of these -- I've been limping along with inferior substitutes ("always use the right tool for the job") and/or broken or damaged ones (like my crappy wire strippers). I was also running low on heat shrink tubing. Some of these I haven't even seen before, like the helping hands! So cool.
Thanks so much Santa, these will be so helpful in my continued pinball adventures!

Mine has not arrived yet, but I am not worried. I couldn't get mine sent until Friday.
To the recipient of my gifts: It is due to arrive today, worry not.
Canada Post got my Secret Santa parcel to me just in time! One of the gifts is a pingulp, based on the note and shape of the gift. I laughed pretty hard, as the note said that my Secret Santa bought me a pingulp before I won one. Winning the pingulp was true, but it turned out it was going to be crazy expensive to send it to me in Canada, so I declined the prize. So, great job on that Secret Santa! How long can I hold out...likely not very long!
IMG_20191223_1424011 (resized).jpgMy SS package arrived at post office today!
It arrived in one of Canada Posts “apology bags”, box is a bit mangled, I really really hope nothing breakable inside (if it’s a back glass she’s a goner

northerndude that's a bummer. I hope whatever it was, wasn't damaged and if it is, hopefully it's something that's replaceable
usps here in the states is a complete joke to deal with on insurance claims. I've been denied for items that they've obviously run over with a forklift or truck which begs the question what the heck does the insurance actually cover?
I'm still waiting on my gift. nothing in the mail today (yet) or in my usps informed daily delivery digest for today or tomorrow
my package arrived today.
I will open it in a few days (once home for xmas)
thanks in advance Santa. Just wanted to let you know it made it.
Mine arrived today, I can’t thank my SS enough! Not only did I get snake fangs for my Met but also a Brand new copy of my favorite Album of all time, Justice for All! My secret Santa knocked it out of the park. If we ever meet Im buying the first round. Merry Christmas Brother
Harley D.
In what is bound to be one of the most difficult to explain gifts I have ever received (but *I* get it, no worries) thanks to my Secret Santa. Also an ingenious little multi magnetic driver and a nifty T shirt.
It is a habit of mine to put a good luck quarter in every game's return chute. No longer. They now have tokens.

Also, LIONMAN.
Well, I couldn't wait...I am going to blame my family for forcing me to open the gifts tonight.
My SS sent me a pingulp (always wanted one, but was too cheap to buy one - ironic when you have $6k machines but deem pingulps as 'too expensive'), a curling stone drinking cup (some good detective work, as I am an avid curler), and a bottle of Canadian Whiskey and Maple Syrup (bottled in Quebec). Neat to get something from another part of the country.
Thanks Secret Santa, you made this year's Secret Santa event a success!

Coffee
Hard Coffee
Chocolate
And EBD shorts!!!
Seriously, EBD shorts! Too cool.
Thanks Secret Santa![quoted image][quoted image]
Those shorts are awesome! Never seen anything like that.
nothing arrived for me; hopefully come soon after Christmas. Les can you check if there is any tracking info as it could be held up in customs.
I'm not sure why you were thumbs down neil for posting that. I've balanced it back out for you so that santa doesn't bring you coal (or frozen chinchillas!

Can you show us more about that nutdriver? I am curious.

I’ve declared I hate FedEx. I had a package marked as “out for delivery” for four days. I kept getting email updates that a natural disaster delayed delivery. The carrier facility is close by and it’s been in the high 40’s the last few days...no disaster here except for FedEx. No wonder Amazon just dropped them.
My present arrived today and my Santa did amazing!!
Bonus points for noting that things were not individually wrapped!
I hit the jackpot! Santa sent me a t-shirt, Groot chia pet, 5 pound chocolate bar, marvel slip ons, and a lifetouch portrait envelope (more on that in a second).
My wife already claimed the Marvel shirt as hers.
The Groot chia pet is getting started today. follow up pics to come.
The marvel flip flops fit perfectly. I will definitely be taking these to the beach.
This 5lb chocolate bar is fantastic. My kids are already working on getting me to open it. I think some of this is going to disappear tonight when Santa comes.
Now onto the life touch folder. I wasn't sure what to expect but what was in there was cooler than I even imagined!!! There are around 30 pin fliers from a lot of recent pin history. This is amazing and all the fliers are mint too. Fliers from different levels of game too. Amazing.
Here are a couple of my favorites.
The Elvis flyer struck a chord with me especially. My mom was a huge Elvis fan and passed away two christmases ago. I'm missing her a lot this time of year and the elvis flyer reminded me of her and how much she liked to play the pin.
Thanks Santa, you did an amazing job. Couldn't have asked for a better set of presents!!
Now to go kill some of that chocolate bar!
