It's a common holiday in most countries connected to the UK. Its the day after X-mas Dec 26th and it is when we typically have all our big sales. Similar to the US Black Friday. It's when everyone one spends all the Christmas cash they got. Traditionally I think it was when you boxed up all your old stuff and gave it to people that worked for you, mailman, garbageman, hired help. You boxed up all your old stuff for them as you just got new stuff for Xmas.
