Whats really funny for YEARS i bugged BERK to bring more games.. He never would except THE last year I was involved he brought like 30 and 1/2 didnt work from beginning. Just maybe if BERK put in the effort for years that he does now things would have been different he would like to blame everything on me.. I pushed expo for all those years way more than him And yes I am pissed because has banned me from my friends of 33 years .. ITS BULLSHITI I brought all my rare games every year for people to enjoy

Sometimes things don't work out with people you work with. Tough to accept, but better to free up time to move on. Those 33-year friends aren't on Expo grounds the other 360 days of the year. You have all that time to connect with them.

If you don’t like #cleargate, don’t buy until they address it. If you’re directly affected, work with your distro and manufacturer directly to express your displeasure and work on a remedy. It might not be the remedy you like, but any company that wants to stay in business will at least try.

I was only able to attend on Thursday due to other commitments, but here are my impressions:
1. I thought the organization was excellent. Check in was smooth. Everyone was helpful and friendly. One small ask would be to for better signage for the vendor hall and overflow area. I knew where the vendor hall was after attending for years, but I had to point some other folks to it as they couldn't find it. Same with overflow area.
2. Vendor area was busy! Lots of vendors brought games to play (and sell). Unfortunately, there were some vendors missing that have attended before but I understand that physical sales takes much more effort than esales. That being said, I left with $500-1000 in my pocket that I would have spent on vendors who chose not to attend. Please take that comment for what it's worth because I know a lot of folks who said they would have bought things they don't necessarily buy online because they can tangibly see the items.
3. Game room was full. By the end of the evening, there were a significant number of games not working or with problems, but that is unavoidable unless a show is being run like VFW. Expo isn't VFW, nor should it try to be.
4. I thought the Westin was more accommodating that in previous years. I stayed there Thursday night and the management seemed good with all of the revelry.
5. The homebrew lineup was outstanding! It is incredible to see the passion, skill and creativity of people in this hobby.
6. One last comment, and I'm probably in the minority, but I missed the Galloping Ghost dedicated room from last year. He was generous enough to bring a ton of rare games, as well as popular ones from the 80's. There were some here this year, but far less. I loved the vids complementing the pins simply because it brought me back to pleasant memories of arcades in my youth.
A big plus also because I didn't once run into crop-dusting or someone with questionable hygiene. Great show this year!

Not true... She just doesn't do Elvira often. She just appeared as Elvira a week or so ago at the Salem Horror Fest. (Elvira one day and herself the other day or two).
Had a great time at Expo yesterday. The show was really nice and everybody was very accommodating. Went down for a day and saw a lot of stuff and played a number of games I hadn't played before. Vendor hall had some neat stuff too.
Good job and thanks to all that had a hand in the show, game bringers, organizers, volunteers, vendors, etc....... Thumbs up.

Any chance of a timestamp for the photo? Maybe somebody knows who was wandering around in that time window. I heard a report from one of my neighbor vendors of having a couple items walk overnight as well - same guy perhaps? 
OldSpice , I will share the info you posted with that vendor and encourage them to report it so cameras can be checked. If you come to my booth I will direct you to the impacted vendor.
This show is just spectacular on all fronts; we (the community) bring a lot of eyes to the event. If you see something please say something. And please don't let this post divert the fun unfolding in real time within this thread.

The thing is.. they have been addressed, future versions of games won’t have the issue. Everyone who has a game now with these issues needs to pester their distributor, and the manufacturer. There won’t be any sort of mass recourse, ever.
This isn’t the first play field issue to arise and they were all handled the same way.. silently fixed and individually settled.
Playing the Spanish games was a pretty cool experience. A few design ideas you don't see every day with the American games.
However, I only got to play about half of them, because a lot of games had the ball missing! "INTRODUCZCA BOLA" appeared on quite a few displays. There was even at least one machine in the main game hall had this issue (a Gottlieb SS, I forget which). C'mon guys, remember to put the bola in!
They had more issues than that. Balls were in them. I think they just received those games in unknown condition and just set them up. I’m okay with it. Glad some of them work.

We did put balls in and tested all of the games. It is possible there was a stuck ball or other error. They were unpacked from after being directly shipped overseas at the show, so we had to work with what we got. The intention being that even if the games were not working 100%, it was an opportunity to see/photograph some games you probably won’t see anywhere else. Glad you enjoyed the ones you played!

You should reach out to Gene Cunningham to learn how to run a show at an offsite stinky hotel to compete with Expo.
