Tough being a Blues fan? If your only reason for following is a team is the number of Championships, that could be your perspective.

The team makes it pretty easy though. Players, both current and former, live here, are active members of philanthropy, love the salt-of-the-earth culture and are in return, LOVED by the fan base. There is a current player who comes in our family owned gas station 3 times a week and calls US by name. St. Louis has its issues. However, one thing we don't lack is great sports franchises, win, lose or draw. Well, we did. They thankfully moved.

If they don't carry Lord Stanley around in their last game, I'll still love em. Always have, always will. It will make it that much sweeter when it finally happens.

Quoted from Deaconblooze:

I love watching hockey. It's always bothered me that Wisconsin doesn't have a professional team (there are plenty of theories as to why that may be). When I was growing up, the Blues were a really fun team to watch with the likes of CuJo, Shanahan, Hull, and for one year, even Gretzky. They gained my allegiance way back then.
I refused to root for a team from Chicago, even as a youngster. That means it's been a pretty lonely experience being a Blues fan in my parts, but I've seen some STL gear as of recently, so that's pretty neat.
It's been a really crazy ride this year. I had very high expectations going into the year, only to feel like we were completely out of it by xmas. What a great story, and boy I'd love to finally see the Blues raise the cup.

As a Stl fan without a decent NFL team (for decades minus a couple of miraculous years of the greatest show on turf before the team was sold to Satan err Stan) I have always latched on to the Pack. It's a reciprocal relationship! Thanks for cheering on our Blues!

Huge props to the Bruins. Great series, great run, and definitely our toughest opponent IMO.

It certainly seemed it could go either way. I feel fortunate frankly, that Bennington won the game for my Blue Note.

My father passed away three years ago. He had been sick for a while, and I had turned him, like many St. Louisans are, into a diehard Blues fan like myself. I hoped, prayed, and made deals with the sky to allow my best friend to see this before he was taken. It didn't work, but I would like to think he is looking down smiling, cheering, and as emotional as I am. The whole city benefited from this. A lot. I know I did.

Thanks to all of you out of town guys who were supporting us. It was one helluva ride.

My god. The video above is the best thing a Blues fan could watch. It tells the whole story. I have seen at least 70% of those heartbreaks.
