Quoted from dirtbag66:Flacco to Denver.
The Case Keenum Era is over.
Ugh. It's hard to get excited about this move.

Quoted from CrazyLevi:Elway getting desperate. The old immobile white QB thing worked for him once and now he can't give up on it.
And they still owe Keenum $7 mil (10 dead cap hit if they cut him). Not a backbreaker but doesn't help. I'm sure they'll cut or try to trade Case but he isn't worth much to anybody.
Watch him end up on the Redskins.
Thanks for pointing out a potential silver lining, Keenum to the Redskins would make me feel a bit better about the whole thing. But he'll probably end up on the Giants.
Quoted from Who-Dey:I bet Levi has a poster of Phil Sims on the ceiling above his bed that he fantasizes to every night.
It's actually a Mark Rypien poster. Levi likes 'em pretty.
Quoted from Deaconblooze:There are few sadder figures in all of sports. I remember walking through one of the hotels in Vegas. I think it was Mandalay Bay - very few people around and we were walking past a sports memorabilia store. Hey wait... is that Pete Rose? I took a few steps back. Sure enough, he's sitting at a folding table for a signing, but there was no one in sight... just old Pete sitting there all alone.
I would think that if you were banned from baseball for betting, you would try to disassociate yourself from betting, and avoid the town most synonymous with your sin. But that's apparently not how Pete thinks.
I think Rose has a standing gig at that shop, I walked by and saw him there as well. I guess it must pay the bills, but it is kind of a pathetic look for him.
Quoted from Deaconblooze:Where is the 250m going? Aren't the players all making like 250k/3yrs?
For $250 million he probably just bought out the entire league.
Payroll trouble in week two is always a good sign for a new business. I would expect that from a chili truck started by stoners, but you'd think that an operation like this wouldn't blow through all their funds until at least mid-season.
Quoted from VectorGamer:Assuming players got paid today.
It would be impressive if the AAF already burned through last week's $250 million bailout. Of course they started a new league and apparently only budgeted for the first week of the season, so finance may not be a strong point ...
Quoted from RWH:You could bring it to Pincinnati and drink it with us (as someone called us southern Ohio boys in the other NFL thread) village people!
Just to keep things straight, will you be the one dressed as the Indian Chief, or the Construction Worker?
