Quoted from Hardsuit:Would love to hear any comments or feedback on my tiki retheme Polynesia. Thanks!
Excellent work of art,.. and it looks like a lot of effort went in to it. Sharing some pics of it with my cousins in The Cook Islands. Is the centerpiece a Tiki ?
Wow, what a great two days of playing so far. Good job, everyone! Thank you! But there’s a but...(always, right?) But can someone sneak in there overnight and add a bit of slope to some of the games. I played at least three games that had their rear levelers turned all the way in, likely from shipping, I’d imagine. This High Speed was one and I know the Space Invaders and Captain Fantastic right next to it were also flat. There were others but I can’t recall them at the moment. Day three tomorrow! Can’t wait...
My feet hurt.
I took 4th in B Finals today. One of my fellow league members took 2nd in Novice and another league member took 1st in Classics. The SLAP (Salt Lake Area Pinballers) had a strong competitive showing.
Fantastic show all around so far. Great games, great social scene, and just some amazing pinball happening.
Quoted from PaulCoff:Noticed this by the shooter lane while playing JJPOTC. Such a great design feature. So much to look forward to in the future with this machine. It was a pleasure to play at TPF.
That carpet......baby it's all i see
Quoted from SDTMinSTL:This is my first TPF. I brought my wife and son and we are already planning on a return next year and every year it is held. My wife, who, while supportive of my pinball habit, does not understand its full grasp on us pinhead, kept saying how nice the people were, how much fun the games were, and that she loved my son enjoyed it so much. This might even get me a game! Great job Texas and everyone who was involved in its planning.
Awesome photos!

I was there last year and noticed the same. I think it's a Texas thing. Doesn't necessarily make it easier when slope is lowered but I prefer them steeper.
Fun show and wanted to say thanks to ED, his family, the team of voulenteers, everyone that brings a game, and anyone thta does anything to make it happen.
Wife an I had a blast! Hope to be back in another year or two.
hope to also see many of your smiling faces at MGC in a month so we can show you how WI does it
My second TPF. It just keeps getting better. Worth the drive/flight. Great verity of games and vendors. Flea market and food trucks are a very nice touch.
Grate job putting on the best show I have been to in years.
I am interested in purchasing the Turbo Outrun mini arcade, it has a sign on it that says not for sale-but you never know. If anyone knows the owner and he is willing to sell please lmk. Looks like it is in nice shape.
Did the TPF team say anything about their sci-fi theme that they were hinting could be brought to production?

Coming in 2018
Quoted from PinballManiac40:Coming in 2018
They intend to show a full machine (possibly to produce) some time this year?
Few more pics.
The wonderful AP team. We really enjoyed our time with Josh and especially Joe. He is soooo passionate about what he does.
He was also over the top kind to my wife asking him a million questions as he set up for the show
Held dual citizenship while at the show as the "semi-skilled, semi-dedicated" pin-tech for the Pinstadium team.
Scott is a super guy and cares 1st, 2nd and 3rd about his customers!
So refreshing to see that depth of customer care.
Tami had a great time visiting with Scotts better half as well. What a sweet young lady.
Nice pic of RedRacer with the amazing JJP team. What a game they have in Pirates!
Barry Oursler session. 40 games and still going strong!
Autograph line of some of the legends of pinball
OK. I'll need to have a confirm on this but near the end of the day Saturday the GC I set on Houdini machine #2 on Friday afternoon at show open was still standing.
It was the first game I ever played on Houdini and first time I laid eyes on it live. "Holy beginners luck Batman" (I'm not that good)
I followed it up on Saturday with a whopping 17,000 score
Good news is that it solidified my take on the game. Challenging, beautiful and fun.
My game should be delivered in the next couple weeks!
Quoted from MrArt2u:But can someone sneak in there overnight and add a bit of slope to some of the games.
Usually I just crawl under there and do it. Shows, arcades, wherever. I’ve never been confronted about it or asked to stop. Death to flat pinball. If owners won’t pitch their games, I will.
Quoted from NPO:So, when we came, this was our luggage with clothes. Now it is all pinball stuff. How the fuck are we going to fit our clothes back into it D: ??????
Ha! We packed an empty bag for that very reason. TSA probably thought it was odd but we can’t be the only ones.

Clothing = overrated
Pinball goodies = underrated
Nice to meet you guys at the show!

I pack a small suitcase with clothes etc. and put that suitcase in a larger one and check it. On the return I check both of them since the larger one is full of goodies.

You wear them all! Like Russian nesting dolls! lol

Buy a cheap duffel bag for your clothes and fragile items that you can carry on the flight. (or one of those cloth Marco bags for each of you)
My wife is a packing extraordinaire!!! We did it!!20180318_114830 (resized).jpg

I like your train of thought ; ). Great to meet you too!! Always great to meet other awesome people in the hobby!
4 awesome and well maintained machines on Sunday. No line. Great work on these. Sounds like that is the plan. KK (resized).pngKK1 (resized).png

No way that’s gonna fit in the carry-on!!
Quoted from PinballManiac40:Sounds like that is the plan.
Assuming they'll ask Spooky to build it, if the latter have the space.

You're lucky that you did it under someone's pin that doesn't care. If I ever found someone taking it upon themselves to mess with my game at a show. ..well...Let's just say that's a good way to get your ass curb stomped. No reason you can't find the owner and ask if he wouldn't mind adjusting it, maybe even offer to help.

I love that everyone's Rambo on the internet.
Quoted from Ed209:I love that everyone's Rambo on the internet.
Nope, not Rambo just a fact.
Can someone post the award winners when they get a chance? I had to leave early and wasn't able to stick around for the ceremony
Quoted from merccat:Ha! We packed an empty bag for that very reason. TSA probably thought it was odd but we can’t be the only ones.
Priceless... Going through TSA without having to explain colorDMD, coin mechs, pinballs, rubbers, target mechs and other various pinball parts. This was the first time I didn’t get sweated going through security. 666EBC5D-BC7E-4689-8AA0-21F669959328 (resized).jpeg

So,what are you really saying?

Simply amaze-balls
The effect over the inserts is so convincing. Such a unique project.. bravo!
Quoted from solarvalue:Thanks, saw the promo video, it's great but I would also like to see some more gameplay.
Played it... seemed to make no sense what was going on to me... the ramps and plastics are very eye catching, but it ended there for me
