Oh man. Me and Quiddity need to track you down on friday! We won't be staying at the hotel but I plan on being there pretty early as I need to unload a game for someone that's buying it and get my packet for my game that someone else is bringing from out of state plus the pinside meetup.

Stopping in Tucson for the night. D and D pinball is closed today. There are so many bars around the place, though. Surly Wench. Bison Witches. The Barn, Tall boys. FlyCatchers, Mr Head's. Not so sure about some of these.. I think I'll try the solar powered Astronomy themed Sky Bar. Oh, and if I get enough liquid courage, there are at least a dozen tattoo shops within blocks of this place. TPF or Bust tattoo??
I'm such a buffoon sometimes - today I got two notices from hotels telling me to get ready for my trip. Fortunately I could cancel one without incurring a charge. So, if you need a room at Hyatt House one just opened up. Maybe I just get overly excited about the show - last year I booked airfare twice. Fortunately Southwest is very accommodating with changes so I ended up with a credit that I used to go to New Orleans last September. Anyway, keep the packing and traveling stories coming - they are great to follow!
I packed up the inventory suitcase and it came in at 46 pounds - just under Southwest's allowance. I was able to squeeze 8 of the new Skee Display sets in there so be sure to come by the booth and check them out.

Flew in to DFW yesterday. First stop after checking in at the hotel was Cidercade. Very nice place. Some very nice ciders. Lots of video games, about 18 modern pins including Houdini. Will write a small report for the Pinball Magazine website. Today heading to Mesquite, Garland and Richardson.

Well in my book the show starts as soon as I am at the hotel with a cold beverage in hand which should be around 6pm on Thursday.

Officially noon. Should be able to load in earlier but I'm not sure if they will be ready to inventory games.
"Show set-up officially begins at noon on Thursday, March 15th until 11pm. You may arrive earlier, but we will still be setting up the electrical and drapery so you may just be sitting around waiting. The ballroom will re-open for continued set-up on Friday morning at 7 am, March 16th.
We encourage early arrival for load-in and set-up. Friday morning is good; Thursday is better."
