Second year, should be even better than last year! Cannot wait to see everyones photos of their swag. What do you get someone who appears to have everything, lol.

Man, I am more excited to see the recipients reaction the what I sent than I am to get my box, lol. Keep those photos coming!

    Quoted from HighVoltage:

You can put the recipient's address as both destination and return. But if recipient wants, they can see where it came from by the tracking anyways, so no need to get too sophisticated by hiding it: just put your real return address with a name of "Secret Santa".

I tried putting in the destination address as the return address and the price to ship dropped in half since the system thought it was going within the same zip code. I put it back to my home address (with Secret Santa as the name) since I figure they would have checks to see where the package was scanned at pick up. Last thing I want is the USPS on my ass, they make the IRS look nice, lol.

    Quoted from HighVoltage:

Well, you wouldn't do it on purchase. You purchase as normal, capture the graphic label, load up a simple graphic editor, and cut the to address and paste it over the from address before printing. I did that last year (it's okay, recipient already knows me now), and USPS aren't on my tail yet! Doubt they care about this.
But no need to be that sneaky...

That's a level I didn't think about, lol. Anyways, they could probably figure out who their Secret Santa was with about two minutes of investigation so what is done is done, lol.

Oh man, waiting for the gifts I mailed to be opened and photos posted is killing me. I may be more excited to see what they think of what I sent than I am to get get my package. Maybe, it’s close.

Awesome Podcasting setup. The first photo I thought was a microscope and was like “what?”. It all makes sense now.

This will be a multiple posting message so please accept my apologies in advance, I feel like making some comments on certain items and want the comments to be with each photo.

So I got notified by UPS that a package was scheduled for delivery and I got an alert from my security camera that there was motion by the side door. I checked my phone and saw the UPS guy bringing the box to the side door. I texted my wife to grab the box and hoped she could confirm it was what I hoped it was. It was secret Santa time.

The longest drive home from work followed but soon it was time to open it up. A nice warning on the outside gave me a heads up that the gifts were not wrapped so if I had plans to put them out under the tree until Christmas, it wasn’t going to work. No worries there, these would have been opened either way. The box was making strange rattling sounds and my wife joked that maybe it was an oversized toy pinball machine.

My wife wasn’t far off! It was one of those “pinball” games you see at the dollar store, themed for baseball. I also got a DVD of Major League and some Chief Wahoo (RIP) stickers. Very nice as I have rooted for them to win since ‘82.

There is a DVD game for Space Ace which was my first user name on old dial up BBS systems back in the C=64 days. Truly my SS has done his research. I kept getting questions about kiss on the BBS’s and I didn’t know why until someone told me one of the Kiss band members was named Space Ace. Oops. When XBox Live launches I changed my name to TheHammerGod since I loved Thor and there is a keychain of Majoir.

Star Wars Pez, I’m a fan. Racketballs and a Racketball rejuvenator; I must have mentioned I played at some point. Heck I don’t remember when I would have but there is the proof I did.

The Whirly Ball is a mystery, how does it tie in with the SS deep dive research? I’m gonna have to review my own posts to find out!

There was also a BB-8 phone app controlled droid. If you have never seen these before check them out on YouTube, they are crazy awesome. You control it with an app, it will respond to voice commands and it has sensors to avoid running into things. This is the type of toy that would have been on the Jetsons cartoon when I was a kid and now it came in a SS box! What?

Oh, this is a pinball Secret Santa exchange? How about a Ghostbusters pinball decal, a set of flipper rubbers, a flipper gap gauge, bulbs, fuses and a fuse remover.

I didn’t even know the flipper gauge was a thing, great idea and right into the toolbox!

My first Double Danger pinball shirt! My only issue with this is that when my wife held it up so I could take the photo she was eyeballing it for herself. Sure she wears a small and this is extra large but she may have mentioned something about wearing it as a nightshirt under her breath.

I don’t think so! Hands off MY Secret Santa stash!

Finally. The last item in this box of wonderment and delights. I love me some Gottlieb. So much the attract mode on Waterworld says “Nothing but Gottlieb” followed by “Gottlieb RIP 1927-1996”

Yes I know what that makes me in the eyes of the hardcore pinball players but the heart does what the heart does. Now I have an official name for the row of Gottlieb machines in the basement, from now on if you are looking for me Jen will tell you where I am at. Having fun on Gottlieb Way. Woot!

Thank you so much for everything Secret Santa from GA. I have a friend who just moved back there, if I ever find out who you are I am going to have him buy you a beer. Or give you a hug. Or something.

I told my wife she has some steep competition for gifts for me this year and she flat out told me she can’t beat that. I think the could always try!

Again, thank you so much. I hope your Secret Santa brought you a fraction of that happiness that yours brought me.

    Whew. I’m done! Cheers!
