Attention Streamers/Videographers! The Texas Pinball Festival is seeking a skilled streamer and/or videographer that wants the opportunity to live stream/record the Texas Pinball Festival seminars. This is a great opportunity to really boost your channel viewer and subscribers. TPF can provide a high speed wifi connection (but having a hot spot as a back up is a good idea). We can also discuss you doing some streaming from the show floor if you like, but the seminars is the priority. If you have the equipment and know what you're doing, shoot me a message to discuss.
PS. We already have the tournaments covered

Decide if you prefer an LCD or LED display by visiting ColorDMD.com (note some games will only work with the LED display due to space limitations).
Email: randy AT colordmd DOT com with "TPF2017" as the subject. Provide your name, a contact phone number, if you want an LCD or LED display, and what game it's for. You will then receive instructions for payment with $50 off and no shipping charge.
Your new display will be delivered to you for installation during show set up at the Texas Pinball Festival. Randy will be there personally to provide assistance if needed.
Big THANK YOU to Randy Perlow and ColorDMD!
Quoted from Pinball-is-great:Is there a certain cut-off date that we need to keep in mind if we are thinking about registering to bring a pinball machine to TPF-2017?
From reading info online on TPF website, I see that we need to be set up ready to go by Fri Mar 24th, 4 pm.
Exhibitors can register online up to showtime or just show up with your game and we'll get you in. Tuesday, March 7th is the cutoff to ensure you receive a name badge as we have to get those printed, sorted, etc.
Quoted from Lermods:Anyone know the WiFi deal at the hotel if you aren't staying there? We will have a booth and need wifi to run transactions. Is it free?
Also, hotel site says $10/day parking. Is that right? Is there street parking?
You might try asking the folks running the show
We will be emailing all the vendors about available wifi in the show hall when we send out set-up instructions. Parking in parking garage is free for hotel guests. Open parking is free for everyone.
If you are coming to TPF, please support the TPF vendors and sponsors. They pay good money to bring you their products by buying vendor space, web links, and ads in the show program (which helps pay for this huge show and keeps weekpass pricing for guests low).
Quoted from Zitt:Ed, have you guys defined clear parking for the "delivery trucks/trailers"?
IE is there a defined parking area for those trucks.
This year; I'll be bringing a 24ft truck... so I don't think parking "beside" the parking structure works this time. There is also an issue where I didn't get in early enough (Oct... really) to get in the Embassy.
We have a designated parking area across the street in the mall parking lot for large trucks and trailers. Load in staff will direct you after unloading.
Chicago Gaming has unveiled Attack from Mars Remake in 3 versions: Classic Edition, Special Edition, and Limited Edition! Come play it at the FUN! Billiards and Gameroom Superstore booth at TPF2017!
Exclusive offer for TPF2017 attendees! 50% off and a free ride to the National Videogame Museum! On Saturday, March 25th and Sunday, March 26th, show your TPF wristband and visit the NVM for just $6! That's 50% off the regular $12 price! Also on Saturday only, from noon until 8pm, the NVM will provide a FREE shuttle from TPF to the NVM. The shuttle will run 2-3 times every hour with the last shuttle returning at 7:45pm. The NVM is only 4.3 miles from TPF.
Visit http://nvmusa.org for more information on the NVM!
TPF and Show Etiquette 101
Texas is home to the most polite and friendly folks around, but just as a reminder, here’s a little pinball and show etiquette:
Please do not kick or hit the machines. This is usually a non-issue, but we always like to remind folks to treat the games as if they were their own. The game owners will appreciate this.
Please do not put drinks or food on the games, and please wash your hands after eating that big bowl of Texas nachos. Trash cans are accessible throughout the game room and beverage holders are available on many of the games.
We love seeing kids at the show. Often times they have never seen a pinball machine and we encourage parents to teach them, but smaller kids should be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Share that great game. If you notice someone waiting to play the game you are playing, please allow them to play when your game is finished. Better yet, challenge them to a multiplayer game. It’s more fun to compete!
Please make sure to wear your Texas Pinball Festival wrist band on your wrist at all times. It’s the only way we know what your security clearance is (we wanted to do retina scanning, but it was too expensive). If you have a problem with your wrist band, go to the registration table for assistance.
And finally, keep in mind the folks that put on the TPF are hobbyists (like many of you) and volunteers. This is not our primary business. Please be patient. We are working hard to make it a great show for everyone.
TPF reminder: At the request of the hotel and convention center, outside alcohol is not permitted in the venue or common areas. Outside alcohol is allowed in the guest rooms and adult beverages are available for purchase from the venue. If they see outside alcohol, they will ask you to leave.
NOW, as far as I know, nobody cares about your beverage from Starbucks, your favorite fast food restaurant, or in your tumbler
