I went with the Eeros mesh system (made by Amazon) which actually uses a 2nd dedicated 5ghz band strictly for communicating between units. The one I got is a bigger system for a 3000+ square foot house, but I have zero complaints about the results. I went from 2 different extenders (which were slow) to the mesh system and I have blazing fast speeds throughout the house now which extends to my driveway and backyard. There are a few different really good mesh systems, but definitely go that route rather than an extender. I can't stress how much better the mesh system is.

Here is what I got: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071DWXLYL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00

But for what you are saying you need, you can probably go with this system for over half the price: https://www.amazon.com/Introducing-eero-mesh-WiFi-system-3-pack-/dp/B07WMLPSRL/ref=p13n_ds_purchase_sim_1p_dp_desktop_7

For those of you not familiar with mesh WiFi, here is a good recent writeup with comparisons of the best systems. A lot of good info and from someone who recently went down this rabbit hole, it is worth pursuing. I went with the Eero system just due to the fact that I use Alexa for other home automation and the Eero is seamless with the systems I already have in place. But most of the big names are great, including Google, Apple, Eero (Amazon), etc.... The Eero system was EXTREMELY simple to hook up and I had it all done in less than 10 minutes. They also have the aftermarket hangers, as mentioned about the Google system, that lets you hang it off your electrical outlet if you want.
