I bought the 1978 Bally. The newer games first of all have terrible gameplay and secondly the Bally is a pinball classic. I plan on holding onto it and am having the table fully restored. It's not an investment necessarily but I only see it going up in value especially considering Hef won't live forever.
It's the original, it's fun to play, and it's the one to buy.
