You have to wonder about an ad that says "surprisingly good taste" in it. Like they were shocked!!

    Quoted from RyanStl:

I had a hankering last night like a pregant lady. This is my Ode to the Filet-O-Fish in pizza form. I'm cross posting this to the pizza thread.

    Pickles?

    Quoted from TitusPullo:

Just paid $8.15 out the door for a FoF medium sized meal. I will also add that the placement of the filet, cheese, sauce and bun were perfect. It is now obvious to me that my local McDonalds is a tier 1 McDonalds.
    [quoted image]

    LOL You probably got lucky!

    Quoted from ImNotNorm:

Bring on the downvotes purists! You remind me of Kathy Bates.
Maybe I'll get extra ketchup next time....
    [quoted image]

Mix a little horseradish with the ketchup, and you have cocktail sauce. MMm mm

    #598 2 years ago
    Quoted from punkin:

If not the hotdog, then what fucking good is ketchup at all?

Great on fries!! I think you guys call them chips...

    #615 2 years ago
    Quoted from punkin:

All this talk about tomato sauce got me a hankering. Smoked German franks grilled on toasted buns with hot english mustard and tomato sauce.
    [quoted image]
Only thing i have ketchup on since i put long pants on the first time.

Is talk like this allowed in the FOF thread? For a penance say 5 hail Mary's and eat 2 FOF sandwiches.

    #623 2 years ago
    Quoted from punkin:

    Yours gets 5.8/10 sloppy points.

You would think for 15 bucks/hour it would get made correctly.

what the hell is a FOF?

    Seriously?

    #673 2 years ago
    Quoted from skink91:

I was worried someone would try to outdo me when I said I would get 3 earlier… and wanted to also set the bar here (as the OP).
    Git some FoF!
    [quoted image]

Make sure you stay near a bathroom.

    #748 2 years ago
    Quoted from ImNotNorm:

Just ordered my modded FoF. Sandwich only. ($6.18 CAD)
Only lettuce, cheese, onions, mayo and ketchup.
Got it and it looked near perfect. Nice and fresh too.
Took a bite and noticed the ketchup was missing. Like they almost went out of their way to make sure it wasn't put on.
I can only surmise that some of you in this thread are somehow involved in this Tom Foolery.

There is an email for feedback!! Email rammie!!

Yupp, the cardboard sleeve kept all that goodness together.

    Quoted from punkin:

Got me fucked why you people judge someone by their hourly rate. How does that measure the worth of a person?
Must be a united States Of North America thing.
I'd hate someone to figure out mine.

McD's is an entry level position making a lower pay rate.

    #1649 1 year ago
    Quoted from davjoszie:

This statement is false. Many adults work at there. McDonald's makes a ton of money and can afford to pay their employees a living wage. If you believe people don't deserve a living wage, regardless of where they work, then I guess you are the type of person who builds themselves up by bringing others down. I was taught better in preschool.

Didn't meant to offend you, guess you work at McD's. BTW Keep up the good work, I have stock in the company.

    #1651 1 year ago
    Quoted from SuperGrafx:

Far as I'm concerned, McD's has always been a job for teens, retirees, and people who:
    1. Need a secondary source of income
    2. Lack ambition
    3. Didn't work hard in school
    4. Have no desire for a traditional career.
I can't be the only kid who grew up with parents/teachers telling me to study and work hard so that I could have better opportunities later on in life. The common saying was always "work hard now, or you'll be pushing a broom or flipping burgers at Mcdonald's". Hate to say it, but it was a GREAT motivation as you had to work hard in order to justify higher earnings. Not because you 'deserve' them just for doing the minimum in life.
I think what irks me most is that these are low skilled jobs that really shouldn't be paid at $15.00/hr or whatever the going rate is these days. It's evident that the higher wages make ZERO difference in terms of quality, speed or employee loyalty, so it becomes a slippery slope.

    Bravo, well said.

    Quoted from sliprose:

Damn, McDs now excludes the FoF from the buy one get one deal on their app. It is now for Big Mac, Quarter Pounder and 10 nuggets only.
I guess my FoF consumption is on pause until they bring back another special.

If you can afford a NIB pin, you can splurge on a FOF once in awhile.

    #1676 1 year ago
    Quoted from Elvishasleft:

Anyone post this McDs guy yet?

You are now trained to work at McD's

    Quoted from titanpenguin:

It’s not a circle, it’s more of a line that kinda meanders side to side as people try to look to see how far they are from the dumpster.

    Conga line, to be exact.

    #1883 1 year ago

A simple cocktail sauce is horseradish and ketchup. Done

    Quoted from DBLM:

You need to put some Old Bay on it! You can order it at McCormicks D-O-T com/oldbay
    [quoted image]

    Good on fries too.

    #1897 1 year ago

Herr's has old bay chips, I think are a little overbearing.

    Quoted from tomdrum:

A Big Mac was $1 on "deals" and that's what I got.

What do you want for $1? They probably thought "Look at this cheap Mf'er.

    #2215 3 months ago

Not so long ago they still had the dollar menu.

    Quoted from skink91:

Unfortunately I think this is a region-specific offer… I know last year in Minnesota (at least the McD’s by me) never offered any deal on the FoF. My assumption has always been they are thinking “why would we give these silly bastards a deal… we know they’re gonna order them no matter what we charge.”
If I am wrong - there will be much rejoicing.

    Maybe it's for Lent?

    Quoted from ralphs007:

Right now in my area they're two for $3.99.That's what my wife and I are having for dinner tonight. I'm guessing they're having the special because of Lent. I miss the days when they were a dollar each during Lent.

    What! No tuna fish sandwiches?

    3 weeks later
    #2328 19 days ago
    Quoted from xsvtoys:

Still $6.19 each here in AZ, no Lent deals here that I have been able to find.

Inquiring minds want to know, both of those together in one sitting?

    Lent is over too.
