    Quoted from TheLaw:

Then don't allow this typical Canadian besmirchment talk!!!
"... And, in Canada, McChicken Sauce is a noted departure from mayo — specifically with the inclusion of mustard."
Oh theres eggs buddy, and fucking mustard?!
Don't blame us for that unholy concocktion

And it’s not called mayonnaise, it’s tartar.

skink91 is going to be 500lbs if this thread gets hot every night.

    Quoted from rotordave:

And - it’s TARTARE sauce. Tartar is what you say when someone leaves. Well, it’s not even that. Lol

    rd

Here in ‘Mercia Tartare is a dish of raw meat usually beef or horse served with a raw egg yolk on top.
    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steak_tartare

    #246 2 years ago
    Quoted from punkin:

    Oh yeah, a 'merican dish.
"The tartar is a preparation that is commonly made of raw meat or fish, macerated with different seasonings, sauces and to which is sometimes added egg.
About its origin, there are basically two theories, and in both the meat is its main ingredient. The first hypothesis states that it is a dish originating in Central Asia, where the well-known tribe of the Tartars placed the meat between the saddle and the back of the horse, so that it softened while they rode. The other theory states that it comes from French Polynesia, where it is common to consume raw meat and was popularized in hotels of French origin in the early twentieth century, a time in which the prestigious chef Auguste Escoffier carries out an update of several sauces, including the tartar sauce."

Never said it was an American dish, was responding to RotoDave’s comment. The difference between tartar and tartare in ‘Merica.

    Quoted from skink91:

I hate ketchup and put it on nothing. I eat those babies plain and salty.

I’m the same, there hasn’t been ketchup in my fridge in 20 years. Ketchup isn’t too popular around these parts.

After reading these posts for the last week while recovering from a bout with COVID my wife dropped off the most delicious sandwich to ever come from the Golden Arches . FoF for the win. I washed it down with an unsweet tea.

I’ve read the FoF cures Covid.

I wasn't aware of that. What's the gummy?

The buns they used for the Arch Deluxe line of sandwiches in the mid 90s

    Quoted from beelzeboob:

Somebody said I was paged in this thread. What's up?

He was put in FoF timeout for a bit, now that’s passion for the flaky goodness!!

    Quoted from Beatnik-Filmstar:

Hey skink91 - you wanna tell the class what you did for dinner last night? Ultimate besmirching.

    Quoted from skink91:

Alright. Played an absolutely miserable tournament yesterday: 2 strike knockout, I played 2 games (AIQ and JP both which I own) and got a strike on each one.
To eat my sorrows away, I stopped at Arby’s - I got a brisket sandwich, a chicken sandwich, 2 regular roast beefs, a 9 piece boneless buffalo wings (which were horrible), and a large curly fry.
And to think… I could have taken a different route home and got FoFs. What a waste.

    So no Arby’s fish sandwich?

Guys, we’re straying too far off course, let’s bring it back to tartarland.

    #1317 2 years ago

I haven’t been inside a McDonalds in 5 years, unless they’re handing out pints through the drive thru, not interested. Pretty sure I haven’t had a FoF sober in that long either.

The FoF was on the Chicago news today.

    Quoted from Pinbub:

Cheese down low or up high?

    Low, of course

    #1488 2 years ago
    Quoted from SuperGrafx:

Why was it on the news?
    Because of a predicted shortage?
Or a mysterious uptick in sales over the last few months?

They mentioned lent, and the anchor said this time of year he lives of the FoF.

    Quoted from Budman:

I must confess to having “ a fling”, “ an affair” this afternoon with the Specialty Hawaiian Fish sammich at Arby’s. It was great but just hope McD’s doesn’t find out.

If you’re going to stray, do it right and get the Walleye sandwich from Culver’s.

    #2073 1 year ago
    Quoted from skink91:

The FoF and fries are the only thing they do well IMO… and if a FoF meal is gonna run me like $9, and more than $4 for extra FoFs? They will never see another dime from me again. Bunch of clowns.

If you haven’t tried the Walleye sandwich from Culver’s, do it. Delicious and it’s only like a $1 more than FoF. I think it’s only seasonal tho, I believe spring and fall time.

Same here. $4.59 each or 2 for $5.49. Don't know where xsvtoys is getting his price.
I'm still waiting for them to bring back the $2 FOF Friday deal. Wish me luck!

I don’t think you’ll see them cheaper the $2.75 again.
