    You go rock star!
Some talk the talk, some walk the walk.
A video would be fuking ace!
Get your wife to do it and if we hear her talking to herself about how fucking stupid this is to amuse a bunch of old men on an internet site, you win the internet.

Wife’s got a good sense of humor and would totally be down.

You don’t think I bought it just because I’m drunk do you?
I mean, that’s a contributing factor, but there’s a bigger plan in motion.

Drunk and pot brownies is better!

Sending this too. I looked for the joke manager name tag I got that listed my name as Ronald but can't find it.

Spewing, we need an all day fish option Mickey!

    10:30 it is.Some days I wake up craving a FoF.No idea why.

No better way to get the wife going than a FOF.

I was thinking while reading these posts that this is the crazy action you dreamed of when starting this thread.

Back in the 70s it appears that you could get “seabagged” by Captain Crook when you bought a FoF meal. Good times.

assuming your sober, are you still game for this.

    #1163 2 years ago

Just installed the app but see no deals for it. Also when you customize the sandwich why can’t you add any type of onions?

    #1164 2 years ago
    Quoted from Jamesays:

    Sure, why not?

    #1165 2 years ago

    Holy hell.
They need to bring back the Sea Bag!

Perhaps they will, with the uptick in FoF sales as of late.

    #1166 2 years ago

Did someone just buy a tie on Pinside?

    This thread is truly unique.

Man of my word. Double FOF. Ordering it was a CF. 2 for $6. "I'd like 2 FOF sandwiches made into a double FOF sandwich". $9.36. I asked why so much. They assumed 2 FOF with one as a double. I said I want one sandwich, a double FOF. Silence at the drive thru. Must of needed a manager to change it. After waiting 2 minutes drove to the window. $6.84. Should of been $6.36 with tax. Just paid it.

The tie transaction must be a Pinside first.

    That should be an achievement.

    #1169 2 years ago
    Quoted from Jamesays:

Two more thrown together. But tasty
    [quoted image][quoted image]

The FoF's look good. Good overall fit and finish.

Regarding the onions --- those seem like big hunks of onion (rather than slivers). Whenever I tried the onion sliver mod, I got the large-ish sliver which seemed to overpower the sandwich.

Must remember to try the minced onion mod. That seems like it might be right up my alley!

I guess that's better than being teabagged by the Captain.

And? Was it everything you were dreaming of?

I was hoping for 2 cheese 1/2 slices to bond the filet patties together. Only got one. It was OK taste wise but I still feel the North Atlantic cod was better sandwich. Steamed bun was good. The double should get more tarter sauce than the standard.

Ideally a double should be from top to bottom-> heel- sauce - filet - full slice of cheese - filet - sauce - crown.

    #1173 2 years ago

    Shoulda worn the tie.

Sounds like you should have just gone with the original 2 for $6 and done self-assembly.

I remain completely unconvinced the standard order FoF can be improved upon.

Fries on top are the business. but they are not extras, they come with the FoF meal and so by Ronald's Law should be there.

O/T, a mate of mine once got busted for a bank robbery warrant while sitting on Ronald's plastic knee.

I believe the Hamburgler got off scott free.

He must be getting married. Needs the McD’s tie to complete his Tuxedo. She needs to know what she is getting herself into. May as well be upfront with it. “Eat mor fish”

I always thought the 1/2 slice of cheese was wrong. I mean what do they do with the other half, sit there and go hard?

Just put on the other half.

    #1183 2 years ago

Half slice is perfect perfect balance. Fish zen.

    No besmirching.

Cheese looks a tiny bit off? 9,9?

    #1187 2 years ago

I didn't lift the 2nd level out of fear of mangling the evidence, what is the proper way to display it? I can't verify the accuracy of the cheese toss.

    #1188 2 years ago

The tarter drop was near dead center and APPEARS to be a single load, not 2, and I think that matters -- I don't like these 2-stage tartars we see sometimes -- that's not excellence.

    #1189 2 years ago

Patty placement was a 10 no question that's dead square, so I think we need to recap the scores:

    bun: 10

    and then the three alignments:

    tartar: 10
    fish: 10
    cheese: 9

    Did I miss a category?

So I think that's technically a 9.75 -- but I get how you have to ask yourself -- have you seen a better one to date? Was it the holy grail 10? Not for me to vote...

    Yep, she's a 'bute...
...but is a perfect "10" actually achievable?

    #1196 2 years ago

It looks like a little tartar spillage on the box could deduct a point, but that's a minor detail I'd overlook to give that FoF a 10 (as long as it was fresh & hot).

    Well done!

    #1197 2 years ago

It's the best one we've seen in this thread, so it's benchmark and should be key posted.

Secondly, my word, that is a fine looking sandwich!

Also, is it just me or do I detect the addition of perhaps a SECOND slice of cheese??
