Quoted from pindoc1:

At the Magic Kingdom at WDW, Mr. Toad was turned into a Winnie the Pooh ride. A little less scary for the little kids. Still fun.

Egads! Abominable!

Apparently, of all the Disney parks around the world, the original in Anaheim is the only one where a Mr. Toad ride dwells.

Someday, they may open that sucker back up, but for now, it is smart operation to keep it closed. If we can't even make it through one week of baseball season, how the fk can they safely open it back up, not to mention all the out of towners it would attract spreading that shit around.

I guess in Florida, they figured out a way. lol.

Fucking glad to have Tracelifter back, that's for sure.

It was your Svengali like charms that drew me back in.

My dad was an ironworker and he worked on The Matterhorn.
Mom worked at the county hospital and we always went on county days.
No ticket books or lines, I would never go now way too many rude ass people.

If this pandemic has been good for anything, it's almost as if "stay the fuck out of my space, don't reach over my shoulder or breathe down my neck, and if you try to run me over with your shopping cart, it's coming back at you" is rarely needed any more.

Took a deadly virus to finally teach people some manners. Of course, some will never learn.

I grew up in Buena Park and went to school in Anaheim.
One of my friends works as an imagineer and I can get in for free and I still won't go.
It was great back in the day, now not so much.

Remember when you could park and get it without much hassle? Here is why I won’t go back. Last time I went it took 2 hours to get in the damn place. It goes like this. Wait in a car line to pay for parking and get in garage. Drive for 10 minutes through enormous garage. Park. Walk long ways. Stand in line for security. Walk long ways. Stand in line to buy ticket. Walk. Stand in line to get in. Get in. Crowded af. Garbage experience.

California Adventure sits right on top of the original parking lot, so no more parking at the front gate. The parking structure can be a hassle during busy times when they route you back out and around the block. And it's not getting any cheaper to use it. The tram wait when the parks open and close can also be time consuming.

However, there is a bike rack right near the entrance that is rarely full if you want to avoid all that. I used it quite a few times when my daughter and myself were passholders. She stopped wanting to go when she was around 13, and I've never bought another pass or ticket or been back since. Haven't really missed it either.

Yes I do, I remember when Walt would come unlock the gates to let us in.
Here are a couple of the booths now in Perris, FF to 7:13.
