Odds Evens lights (resized).jpg
#1 3 years ago

Hi everyone. I have a Bally odds & evens add a ball I recently picked up. I have worked thru all of its little problems except one. The game is set on 5 balls. It plays fine thru the 5 balls, but after ball 5, the game doesn’t move to game over. Just stays on the 5th ball and keeps playing. Any idea? Thanks in advance!!

I found the problem. Loose wire on the ball count unit. Thanks so much. I do have another problem I noticed. I can get the lights on the pop bumpers and pop up stopper. I have put new bulbs in each. Any advise would be great. Thanks.

Quoted from BBC:

I can get the lights on the pop bumpers and pop up stopper.

Do you mean that you can't get them to come on? Can you get any of these lights to come on?

If not, check the switch on the Game Over Trip relay (in red).

The specific lights I am having trouble with are the 3 pop bumpers, 2 lights on the pop up hole, and the #2 light on the lower portion of the playfield. Thanks.

In that case I'd suspect a loose wire somewhere rather than a circuit problem. It may be time to start tracing wires...
