Reason for this orange wire on the start relay?
Is it factor or a fancy repair?

Sometimes different switches on the same relay share a circuit. Usually Gottlieb connected them with a naked wire. Sometimes, however, there is too much distance between the switches, so a short length of color wire is used instead. The orange wire on your relay looks factory to me.
