I think my only retort would've been. "Apparently, I made a stupid mistake as well...I called you."

    Quoted from vid1900:

It sounds like your friend is a funny guy, and I give him credit coming up with some good material on the spot.
I think you are oversensitive because you indeed feel some guilt in your subconscious about what you have spent on a bunch of toys.
Like they always say: " If you can't take a joke, keep your pants on in the locker room".

I don't usually thumbsdown Vid, but when I do, it's because he's assuming that he can interpret intent better than the guy that was actually on the receiving end listening to the tone of the person saying it...

    Quoted from jayhawkai:

It's usually the slutty pins with their legs splayed in my experience.

    BOP WHAT?

    Quoted from aerostarz:

One wife also made a comment to mine saying "you let him have all of this stuff?"
My wife commented, "he can do what he wants, its his house also"...

    Oh man, this reminds me..

We had some heifer get smart with us at a party where we brought a pin for everyone to play... where there were a huge amount of pins, mind you. We took our Twilight Zone, and this B.... says to my wife, as she'd under the game picking it up so I can get the legs on it: "Oh honey, you should make your man do that." I didn't even hear this, but my wife did, but only saw the cankles from where she was at. Her response? "Why? It's my game." Was just so absurdly ridiculous for it to even have been said in the first place, much less if you knew or saw the person saying it....not that she'd ever be able to get anywhere near the floor and then get up without a crane.
