    Hi, forum!

Have a JD which is acting a bit strange. One opto isn't transmitting. Other optos are working.

This is what I've done (from memory):
Swapped the big opto boards under the playfield which feeds and reads the optos (there are two next to each other on JD).
Swapped the small board with the transmitter itself with another (tested good board).
With switch edges test on, verified that the receiver part works by using a flashlight (so, it's the transmitter side).
Verified that the cables sit properly on connectors on the opto board under the playfield.
Continuity tested the signal from under the playfield up to the transmitter board.

What I do see is that I barely have any voltage on the transmitter board at all if I compare to other transmitter boards where they read 1.4V (approximately).

Anyone know where to look next?

    TIA!

If you have barely any voltage you may have a nearly complete break in the wire (all but one or two strands for example) somewhere not allowing the voltage to pass through, but still will test good in a continuity test.
