Quoted from GeminiGuy:

Saw some bizarre behavior this morning: Anyone else ever seen this? Turned my Star Wars (Premium/LE) on and there was no response long after it would normally have booted. I opened up the backbox and heard a soft periodic ticking noise coming from somewhere in the neighborhood of the power supply or outlet box, maybe once or twice a second. I turned the power off and on again and this time the system booted normally with just a single “tick” from the same area. No sign of any other odd behavior, all power rail LEDs on the CPU board were fine, but I forgot to look to see whether they were OK when it was in the dead state.
I’ll hope for now that it doesn’t repeat itself, but has anyone else experienced similar behavior or failure in the power supply or distribution board on a Spike 2 game? The machine’s only about two months since NIB.

All you can do is keep an eye on it for any other instances. May also want to make sure the power plug and wire clamp behind the power supply are Firmly seated.
