Hang in there, Taylor...and enjoy the "time off"!
I know I’m behind and really trying to get rails out as quickly as I can. Everything has been wrapped and packed now and will be shipping shortly. As always, if you no longer need or desire the rails I completely understand and is why I don’t take money up front. I’m aware that collections and time are fluid and I don’t always hit the mark.
This is something I need to think about before going forward with making rails. I’ve been at it for 14 years now and the ability to keep up with demand had gotten more challenging. It has been an honor to be a part of so many of your projects, but I think I need to scale back the workload. Over the next month I will do my best to figure out how to do that. Cheers-Taylor

"Double the price!" I say like an idiot who will probably order Reese Rails in the future.
Awesome!!! Looking forward to them!!
...now PM or PayPal me an invoice so that I can pay you for your hard work!

I second this!
Love your craftsmanship, Taylor - and you're a part of every single one of my restores! Don't ever quit doing your thing!

xeneize thanks for the kind words and long time patronage. Been a pleasure working with you. Cheers-Taylor
Taylor I borrowed your cohost for a few episodes. Please try to find some time in your busy schedule to start recording again. I miss your podcast.
What I love about this thread is the title always says "Closed for the season" or some such and yet Taylor's always shipping product anyway! The "closing" is aspirational I guess!

Yeah, I try.
This is my current queue. If you think you should be on this list hit me up. I think I’m missing a couple people that wanted something. I am a shitty business person. 6579BF3A-8CAD-40BA-B5C2-3CF654A89FB4 (resized).jpeg

These are ready for finish, well the backboards still need the filler sanded but you get the idea. I have some stock hopefully arriving tomorrow so I can add rails for Cheetah, TOTAN and TZ to this batch.
I will be attending TPF again this year, if there please say hello.

Send me a PM w/ shipping info. Cheers- Taylor
Quoted from Hawk007:I have a congo but i'm quite far from you.
Love my Canadian brethren, but shipping is stupid expensive to you guys.
I added 2x QS and a Comet set to this batch. Not starting anything new until these sets ship.

This applies to all orders after of 2/16/‘20

If I take your order assume it won’t be started until you see pics of rails shipping.

Thanks-Taylor
Quoted from pinballinreno:Do you have bally playboy rails?
I could use 2 sets.
I don’t. Will try to source.
Quoted from lordloss:..how much for the addams backboard?
I’m not sure. I don’t do them that often so need to go back and see what I’ve charged in the past. They are a total pita as I eventually start wet sanding between coats to try to get a nice, almost mirror like surface.
TZ backboard from 5 years ago.

Is that mine? I'm sorry for makin' you go through that. On the plus side - it shines nice. I did NOT cover it with an artwork decal.

I think it was. I like doing them because they look great when done...it’s just the time it takes to get them done.
Worked my ass off this weekend to get rails finished so they can sit for a couple days prior to shipping.
The 2 TAF backboards are not ready, just drying.
I will be contacting people for shipping info the next couple of days.
Finally have a set of Congo rails on the way in from scooter8416

Congo rails would look amazing in dark green with the black wood grain.
Quoted from Mitch:Congo rails would look amazing in dark green with the black wood grain.
Yeah, that would be hot. If I had free time I’d make some extra sets like that. All the useable stock that comes through my shop has to go into orders. I’ll try to put some aside to play with dyes.
Quoted from Nhpolarbear:Nice interview with Johnny. Always dig the tunes.
Thanks for listening. He was great to talk to and beyond down to earth.
