Hey gang. So my Nugent machine now wants to do a funny little quirk. It will go into this fast moving music tune and the pop bumpers stop working and my right two flippers are really delayed or slow reacting.

Any thoughts? Thanks

After it does this little fast moving melody then everything works fine until for some reason it goes back into the melody.

I swapped out the MPU with my Altec test board and the solenoid driver with my RottenDog. Same issue. So it narrows it down to playfield(?)

Strange switch matrix problem perhaps? MPU100s can do weird things if the switch matrix doesn't look as it expects. A thorough switch test wouldn't go amiss.

Sounds like a case of cat scratch fever.
