Nudging is one of the more difficult skills to master... deprive yourself of that and you're depriving yourself of developing as a skillful player.

    Quoted from SterlingRush:

So question, does that mean this thread is a declaration that there are officially three categories of pinball play?

-The Gentleman Pinball Player: doesn’t nudge, slap, or fuss, just plays the game as it plays. Nice and clean.

-The Experienced Pinball Player: someone who will push and trigger the limits of a machine, to know the boundaries, and skillfully play within those elements.

-The Street Pinball Player: will slap, nudge, smack the sh*t out of machine, while riding his baby momma’s sister-in-law’s 2nd cousin.

On the assumption that category 3 means that the player is nudging the machine more than the player in category 2, then I'd say the 3rd category doesn't really exist because if you repeatedly snack the sh*t out of the game you'll just be throwing your money away because the game will repeatedly tilt...

    Quoted from PanzerKraken:

I got plastic bottom furniture movers on my tile, would something else work better on tile for protection and sliding?

You could try gluing some disks of PTFE sheet on the bottom of the furniture movers... that's probably the slidiest stuff you can get, and it certainly won't scratch the tiles...

Casters are another option, but you lose the workout factor
