Interesting. The screenshot indicates that stop on mouse is disabled, so it should be ignoring that. The OP says he's already replaced the BIOS battery. So, I'd:
- Try fiddling with those settings. Is there a setting for 'Halt On...' of 'Nothing' or similar?
- Actually plug a mouse in, to keep the machine happy. I suspect any old PS/2 style mouse would work.
