Been collecting over 30 years now, but this may be the worst backglass and attempt to touchup failure I have ever seen, game looks better with the glass out!!

I wondered where all the ketchup and mustard went!

Unfortunately the playfield on the game isn't great either, not to this extent though. Makes it a very borderline decision whether to order a new backglass and continue the restoration, or pass it on to someone who can give it the time it's going to need. Possibly one of the hardest playfields to touch up with the silver checkerboard pattern everywhere, and of course that's where the majority of wear is!!

Check this one out.

A budding Piccaso!

This one just needs a few touch ups.

I would like to have seen how bad the Cover Girl glass was before the attempted touch up (if you can call it that). It's impossible to determine how much paint loss there was, but I'm betting it looked better before than after.

I've had glasses with 90% paint loss like that Triple Strike, you have to know when to walk away!!

This one went from very nice to as bad as it can get in about a nanosecond!

Was that a WMS Daffie or Doozie?

Nope. I believe those were made of plate glass, but I could be wrong. Only tempered glass does this!

****LET'S PLAY****, "IDENTIFY THE FRAGMENTS!" Certain would be contestants are ineligible (Bryan, et al.)

I keep seeing this one on ebay, can't quite figure out what's going on there. s-l1600 (1) (resized).jpgs-l1600 (1) (resized).jpgs-l1600 (resized).jpgs-l1600 (resized).jpg

Could of been a test piece? Can't see any other colours on it at all.

Can you give a clue at least;
like EM or Solid State.

Wow, bad enough when playfield glass does that, but backglass, ouch. Think I will stick to plate glass for back glass reproductions. Sorry for your loss.

A little triple thick will fix this one up easily.

Looks pretty cool to me. I would use that as a wall hanger.

We have a winnah!!!

Got this glass out of a recent project picked up at Pinfest.
Pulled these bulbs out of the insert.
They might just as well be heat lamps when they get this black.

Saw this in a FS ad for Star Light. At this point, would you even call it a backglass or just glass?

Guess that the old trim, on that coloured window would have some value?

While i concede that the purples and pinks match up, i could never find where this piece
(yellow/black/red)
fit into the target alpha BG

That's from between the R and G in TARGET. Your brain probably was skipping over the title and looking just at the art?

I lost one when the corner hit. Sadly, the carpet didn't save it.46514464_10156913744663060_6080567105697087488_n (resized).jpg46514464_10156913744663060_6080567105697087488_n (resized).jpg
