I purchased my first table two weeks ago, "Haunted House".

Since then I've acquired a great deal of knowledge from this forum and, the best one, is the realization that the Novus product line exists.

I took apart the playing field (all three levels) two days ago and am undergoing a massive cleaning project and I have to say that whoever came up with the Novus product line, in my mind, deserves the highest honor in the universe. Sainthood, knighthood, a golden ticket, 1000 herds of cattle, or whatever highest honor you can think of.

Fuck it. The person deserves a Nobel Prize in Chemistry for crying out loud.

The gunk that has come off the playfields.... and I mean the thick black stuff kind of gunk... wow.

It's obvious that this machine has not been cleaned... ever... and Novus is just plowing through all of it. Reeee-diculous.

Yeah, the main playfield will never be restored to it's full 1982 pristine glory but, wow, it looks 500 times better than it did just two hours ago.

I only wish I took photos of the playfield before I started cleaning it so I could compare the conditions.

I know, I know... "You're preaching to the choir here buddy," but... wow. It's a glorious work of chemistry.
