I was really hoping to find an old pinball machine but I found this 1957 relic in an abandoned barn that was being cleared out and was going to be thrown out tomorrow, cost: Zero Dollars. It was stored for a good 30 years but still powers on. It needs some work on the high voltage side to bring the picture back but the cabinet is in remarkable shape once all the dust is removed. Restoring old TVs and Radios is a second passion for me and I figured I'd share it with you all, there are still gems hiding out there!

I found an old 50's television and a 30's radio over the years picking up pins.

I hope to see that old indian head burning bright on the 24 inch screen soon.

These youngsters don't know what sign-off means.

Finding them in good condition is the hard part. When I get this going again it should look great next to the 1937 Philco rolltop console radio I restored last year.

I bet you are right! I just hope there are no poltergeists hiding inside this old set waiting to come out after the playing of the national anthem!

Now you're just testing me! If the tube is bad I plan to donate it to a local theater as set dressing but if I get no takers then I'm open to all options and that one is not half bad!

I was going to do something like that with an old TV I had and then I realized I don't like fish.
