Ron is a playfield specialist not a high end pin restorer he is only providing a piece to the puzzle which happens to be one of the most important pieces for restoring a pin
You can find cheaper replacements but you get what you pay for Ron's quality is top notch and hard to come by in any hobby
So if you buy a project machine and think Ron's got a nice playfield for cheap that he's put more hours in on then what he can truly be paid fairly for and say well that's more than I paid for the machine he gets a little tired of hearing that but more than likely if your a collector he'll work with you the best he can as he is a collector himself and is always looking out for his reputation as he not just flipping playfields he's creating masterpieces so pins can live again with playfields that are better than when the pin originally came outta the box
