Ron does incredible work as many of you know. He perfected my Mirco Funhouse playfield for the restore I just completed. Absolutely stunning. Will get some finished pics of the project posted shortly.
Anyways, I used Ron's dremmel and glue kits to prep the holes for pre-drilling. Made a huge difference. On the repro playfields, you have to pre-drill because the holes are almost all undersized, and if you don't cut the clear first, drilling can very easily separate the clear from the artwork even with brand new bits. It's not pretty. Using a tiny dab of the glue with the needle at the rim of the hole gives it a nice finish and makes the posts much easier to remove for future playfield work or if you make a placement mistake. Even my pop bumper screw install went incredibly smooth. Definitely not doing another swap without these kits.
