Someone must explain this to me...24 bids at almost $1500? I could have bought a really nice T2 Pin a month ago for less than $1200. I think that guy has friends running the price up...thoughts?

People go nuts over the NOS stuff. I guess they figure that it would be impossible to find a better playfield and they're willing to spend the crazy money for a restoration.

I'm guessing that a lot of these rare NOS parts find their way into high-end restorations. If a customer demands the nicest T2 possible and is willing to spend the money, the guy doing the restoration has no choice but to go out there and make the customer happy.
