    Looking for a Gottlieb Target Pool playfield - mine was painted completely orange by a previous owner. Doesn't have to be perfect just has to not be orange!

    Does he perhaps mean that he doesn't want the original pre-CPR halifax version that was on the wrong wood, etc.?

    Before CPR existed as such they made Fathom but after sanding the wood was a little too thin, so if you used the correct screws you got pops on the top surface of the playfield (oops!).

    The whole story is on RGP if you want to read about it there. I guess the thinking is that there MAY be some of those PF's out there that people bought for speculation, or, after realizing it was too thin, just sat on it until subsequent runs corrected it.

    And this was the start as well of repro availability causing a spike in game prices.
