Quoted from comment23:WHOA, that's awesome. Acrylic paint and water slide decals?
Createx, and water slides, that is correct!
Quoted from CaptainNeo:what happened to all your screw holes?
Filled with clear.
NO I don't whitewash everywhere. Only the main sections, all the detail areas are waterslide decals printed on white decal material. Close inspection reveals there I cut the decals.
I do appreciate the compliments, if you check my restoration thread, it's been a battle!
Quoted from Clnilsen:do most of these guys make waterslides with the graphics and replace the inserts?
I'm not sure what the pros do, but that is exactly what I did.
In retrospect, the inserts could have been easily filled / leveled with 2pac, but I wanted to use jeweled inserts.
Quoted from canoncitypb:Does anyone have a lead on junky playfields? I'd like some cheap beat up playfields that I could work on restoring. Has anyone replaced theirs and now you have a leftover taking up space?
Quite a few on ebay also. Not that they are cheap.
Quoted from Daditude:Does anyone know what the cost range to ship a playfield conus is?
Last one I got was around $50 USD via UPS.
