    Quoted from Squeakman:

Is it just me or is gold strike the exact same layout as el dorado?

    No, it's not just you:

    El Dorado - 1 player
    Solar Fire - 2 player
    Gold Strike - Add-a-Ball
    Lucky Strike (Italy) - Add-a-Ball
    Target Alpha - 4 player
Canada Dry (France) - 4 player
El Dorado City of Gold - 4 player

Of the bunch I'm told El Dorado is the best one. I've only ever played Target Alpha and it's pretty good; can anyone else chime in?

Is there such a thing as an NOS Gilligan's Island pf? These seem to always have missing insert decals in the Lava Seltzer menu area.

A BTTF bump for the new year.

    1 month later
    #795 7 years ago
    Quoted from TomDK:

    Completely mixed
Some are NOS, T2 and all the Alvin G.s
Some are repros, some are for restoration, some are already restored. I restore and coar them as I have time. Most are just for decoration or swap. Some are backup for my own machines ... for bad days

Do you ever sell any that you have? Any chance you have BTTF in there anywhere?

Looking for a Gottlieb Sky Jump playfield

    6 months later
    #2014 4 years ago
    Quoted from bluespin:

Is this better? It was a restaurant that was closing and they were liquidating all of their assets, including this pin that they had hanging from the ceiling. Imagine sitting under this while eating your dinner....[quoted image]

How the hell do they expect you to play it when its up there?

    Quoted from hazmat7719:

That is extremely dangerous. Even if there is extra reinforcement inside of the cabinet, eye bolts are not rated for horizontal loading.

Eye bolts loaded in the plane of the eye have some shear capacity, not good for load applied perpendicular to the eye, dangerous no matter how you do it.

    Quoted from whthrs166:

You should look into SprayMax. It is a two part straight urethane clear coat system. It comes in a rattle can that you can only purchase online due to EPA restrictions. I did my MM pf with fantastic results. I did 7 coats and even leveled some sunken inserts with the stuff. There is a thread here on SprayMax. It is the real deal so you have to use a mask with the filter when spraying. IMHO you do not need to turn to a body shop when you can do it so easily yourself at home with this stuff and some 2k grit sandpaper between coats. Just make sure you allow it to cure a week between coats.

What do you do with the remaining product in the can between coats? It’s only good for 48 hours.

In Canada you can get SprayMax for about $65 a can at Napa. I did Getaway and Road Show playfields with great results, had a lot of issues with fisheyes when I did WCS.
